The Indiana Fever shut down a question about Sophie Cunningham's comments on women's sports before abruptly ending a postgame press conference.

After Aliyah Boston answered a separate question, an OutKick reporter attempted to ask Boston about Cunningham's recent remarks on transgender athletes in women's sports. A Fever representative quickly jumped in, saying, "We’re going to wrap up here."

The exchange was also omitted from the Fever's official YouTube upload of the press conference.

I’ve heard the saying that “God gives his toughest battles to his toughest soldiers.” But when I see the disciples that Jesus chose and suffered for His name sake, I don’t see Him choosing the “toughest soldiers”, as I learn about men and women in the past and even today who have laid down their lives for Jesus, once again I don’t see God choosing His “toughest soldiers.” But I see a strong and mighty God choosing weak men and woman, and empowering them by His Holy Spirit to face some of the toughest battles and be used for His glory.

I once thought I was a “tough soldier” until I met Jesus, I then realized that I’m so weak without Him, and apart from Jesus I can’t do anything. I need Jesus daily. The only way that I can truly become who God wants me to be and truly do what God wants me to do, is not by my power not by my might, but only by The Spirit of The Living God. Thank you Jesus.

Just weeks after publicly sharing her baptism and Christian faith, Sophie Cunningham faced criticism after speaking out in defense of girls’ sports.

She later said there are more Christians in the WNBA than many people realize���but many stay quiet because, as she put it, “sometimes they want to hush you.”

Major League Baseball was required to respond today to an investigative subpoena issued by Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier.

The investigation follows MLB’s response after three San Francisco Giants pitchers wrote Bible verses on their caps during a Pride-themed game. The Attorney General is seeking records to determine whether MLB applied its policies consistently to Christian expression. The subpoena lists July 23, 2026 as the required production date.

As of this post, neither the Florida Attorney General’s Office nor MLB appears to have publicly disclosed what was submitted or what comes next.

According to a recent survey by The Christian Post, 29 of the 30 Major League Baseball teams host a Pride Night, while only about 15 also host a Faith & Family Night.

Faith-driven athletes and fans have always been part of the game. More opportunities to celebrate them through Faith & Family Nights would be a welcome addition for communities across the country.
