Because I want an Australia where no one is held back and no one is left behind.
My heart goes out to the loved ones and colleagues of the firefighter who has tragically lost their life in the Bulahdelah bushfire. All Australians are thinking of you in your time of grief.
This terrible news is a sombre reminder of the dangers that our emergency services personnel face to keep our homes and communities safe – and the extraordinary courage that their job demands. We honour that bravery, every day.
There's a difference between people who love you for who you are, people who love you for how you make them feel, and people who love what you can do for them. Pay attention. Learn your place in people's lives so you don't overplay your part.
Almighty. As we approach #Ramadan we ask You to heal the broken and those who are ill, grant hope to the ones in despair, comfort the lonely and provide food for the hungry. Above all, we beseech You to let peace reign in the world and in our hearts. Aameen.
Who is he?

Lagos is witnessing significant medical tourism from the UK, US, and Canada. One of my Ogas said that a lot of his elective surgeries were booked by people who opted out of the long waiting list in Canada and the UK while cost is the major driving factor for the US. 30 - 50% cheaper in Nigeria ( exchange rate factor )
It's time for us to build concierge businesses around this.
- Shortlet medical accommodation for recovery
- Home care / Ambulatory Nursing
- Transportation system
- Nutrition and feeding support at home
- Care Assistants
Have your eyes and ears on the ground if you are in the medical space in Lagos.
This is the current situation of One of us in the UK.
As we speak he doesn't have a place to stay and hasn't had a bath in 3 days.
If you have a place for him to stay or can help in any way, kindly send us a DM.
Location is Hatfield or anywhere in the UK.

The facility makes statement and very visible as a landmark structure from both the Bariga and Abule Oja appoaches to the main gate of the University.
The University of Lagos is the first Federal Government-owned university in Nigeria, established on October 22, 1962 by an Act of Parliament. It is a research-oriented university which places premium on innovation and sound scholarship. It parades a wide range of academic programmes at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, offered on a full-time and part-time basis. It has three campuses which include: the Main Campus at Akoka, College of Medicine, Idi Araba, and the Radiography Campus at Yaba.
With a student population of about sixty (60) thousand, the current hostel bed spaces on the main campus is less than nine (9) thousand. This has resulted in a huge gap in hostel accommodation/bed spaces needs for students on campus. This has also resulted in constraint for the University to take on adequately, considerable number of international students.
The Femi Gbajabiamila International Students Hostel Complex comprises of 4 blocks; A , B, C, D

• Number of Wardrobes = 114
• Number of 1-man rooms per Block = 12
• Number of Beds (1-man Rm) per Block = 12

• Furnished Reading Rooms = 4. The reading rooms are furnished with tables and chairs for maximum of 48 users at once.
• Each hostel Block is provided with 1no Buttery to provide for some of the daily needs of residents.

• All rooms are provided with ceiling fans for the comfort of residents.
Apart from the above listed, 8no 10,000 litres each, surface water tanks have been provided to boost and guarranttee adequately treated water supply from the University mains. The complex will be connected to the University power grid.
With the completion of this project, international students from different countries and different cultural backgrounds will also find this Hostel to be “HOME AWAY FROM HOME” as the facility is expected to provide affordable housing for students under a harmonised, diversed socio-cultural atmosphere, with students sharing common areas, lounges, kitchennettes and bathrooms.
Hostel life is indeed a great way to make new friends worldwide and to learn about different cultures. We are looking forward to all students who will be previledged to be housed in this magnificient facility to experience this.
The Femi Gbajabiamila Hall of Residence is a support to the University of Lagos by the Chief of Staff to the President, a distinguished alumnus of the university. The project began with a groundbreaking ceremony in January 2021 when he was the Speaker of the House of Representatives..
