جنوری 2023 میں وہاب ریاض کو پنجاب کا وزیر کھیل بنایا گیا، اگست 2023 میں انہوں نے عالمی کرکٹ سے ریٹائرمنٹ کا اعلان کیا،چھ ماہ بعد وہاب ریاض کو پاکستان کرکٹ ٹیم کا چیف سیلیکٹر بنایا گیا جب پاکستان نے آسٹریلیا کا دورہ کیا تو ٹیسٹ کرکٹ میں پاکستان کو وائٹ واش کا سامنا کرنا پڑا، ٹی ٹوئنٹی ورلڈکپ 2024 سے قبل وہاب ریاض کو ٹیم منیجر کا اضافی چارج دیا گیا اور پاکستان پہلے امریکہ اور پھر بھارت سے عبرتناک شکست کا سامنا کرنا پڑا، اس کے بعد چیئرمین پاکستان کرکٹ بورڈ محسن نقوی نے سرجری کا اعلان کیا اور وہاب ریاض کو دونوں عہدوں سے فارغ ہونا پڑا، اب وہاب ریاض پاکستان کی ویمن کرکٹ ٹیم کے بطور ہیڈکوچ کام کررہے ہیں اور اس ٹی ٹوئنٹی ورلڈکپ میں پاکستان کو پہلے بھارت پھر جنوبی آفریقہ اور آج بنگلہ دیش سے شکست کا سامنا کرنا پڑا، آج میچ کے بعد وہاب ریاض کا آسان الفاظ میں کہنا تھا کہ ہم اپنے پاؤں پر خود کلہاڑی چلائی ہے

I strongly condemn the horrific acid attack on Dr. Mahnoor Nasir at Sandeman Civil Hospital Quetta. This reprehensible act is not only an attack on an individual healthcare professional but also a grave assault on the principles of safety, dignity, and respect that every citizen deserves.
As Chairperson of the Senate Standing Committee on Human Rights, I view this incident with profound concern. Violence against medical personnel while they are performing their professional duties is a serious and intolerable crime. Those who dedicate their lives to serving humanity must be able to carry out their responsibilities without fear of violence, intimidation, or harm.
I extend my deepest sympathies to Dr. Mah Noor Nasir and her family and pray for her swift and complete recovery. The physical and emotional trauma caused by such an attack is immeasurable, and my thoughts are with her during this difficult time.
This incident once again highlights the broader concerns regarding the safety and security of working women. Women across Pakistan, particularly those serving in critical sectors such as healthcare and education, have the fundamental right to work in an environment free from fear and violence. Any attack that seeks to undermine this right is an attack on the values of justice, equality, and human dignity.
I appreciate the prompt action taken by the police and law enforcement agencies in pursuing the suspect. Their swift response reflects the importance of ensuring accountability and upholding the rule of law. I urge the relevant authorities to conduct a transparent and thorough investigation and ensure that the perpetrator is brought to justice in accordance with the law.
I also call upon the Government of Balochistan and all concerned institutions to take stronger and more effective measures to enhance the protection of healthcare professionals, particularly women doctors and frontline medical staff. The safety of those who serve the public must remain a priority, and preventive mechanisms must be strengthened to ensure that such tragic incidents are not repeated.
As a nation, we must stand united against all forms of violence and reaffirm our commitment to protecting the rights, dignity, and security of women in every sphere of life. No woman should have to choose between her profession and her safety.
I stand in solidarity with Dr. Mah Noor Nasir and all working women who continue to serve their communities with courage and dedication despite the challenges they face.

ایک لیڈی ڈاکٹر، جو روزانہ 12 سے 14 گھنٹے انسانوں کی جانیں بچانے کے لیے خدمات انجام دیتی ہے، بلوچستان کے سب سے بڑے اسپتال، سول ہسپتال کوئٹہ میں اپنی ہی جان سے تقریباً ہاتھ دھو بیٹھی۔ میڈیا رپورٹس کے مطابق انہیں ان کے دفتر کے اندر تیزاب سے نشانہ بنایا گیا، جس کے نتیجے میں ان کا تقریباً 70 فیصد جسم جھلس گیا۔

مگر اس المناک واقعے کے بعد حقائق سامنے لانے اور عوام کے سوالوں کے جواب دینے کے بجائے کہانی ایک اندھیرے میں چلی گئی کہ مبینہ ملزم کو پولیس مقابلے میں ہلاک کیے جانے کا دعویٰ کیا گیا، جبکہ اس کے قبضے سے ایک پستول اور چار زندہ کارتوس برآمد ہونے کی بات کی جا رہی ہے۔ تاہم حقیقت تک پہنچنے سے پہلے ہی ملزم کی موت نے پورے معاملے کو مزید پراسرار اور مشکوک بنا دیا ہے۔

یہ محض ایک واقعہ نہیں، بلکہ ایک ایسے نظام کی عکاسی ہے جو مسلسل اپنی بنیادی ذمہ داری، یعنی شہریوں کے تحفظ، میں ناکام ثابت ہو رہا ہے۔ سوال یہ ہے کہ ایک بڑے سرکاری اسپتال کے اندر سکیورٹی کہاں تھی؟ بلوچستان جیسے خطے میں جہاں ہر چند قدم پر سکیورٹی اہلکار تعینات ہوتے ہیں، ایک شخص تیزاب اور اسلحہ لے کر اسپتال کے اندر کیسے داخل ہوا؟ اور اتنا ہولناک حملہ انجام دینے میں کامیاب کیسے ہو گیا؟

اس سے بھی بڑا سوال یہ ہے کہ انصاف کے عمل کو گولیوں کی آواز میں کیوں دفن کر دیا گیا؟ اگر واقعی مبینہ ملزم کے پاس سکیورٹی اداروں سے منسوب ہتھیار تھا، جیسا کہ ینگ ڈاکٹرز ایسوسی ایشن کے نمائندے دعویٰ کر رہے ہیں، تو وہ ہتھیار اس کے ہاتھ ��ک پہنچا کیسے؟ اس سوال کا جواب کون دے گا؟

مزید افسوسناک حقیقت یہ ہے کہ اس پورے سانحے کے دوران حکومت اپنی ائیر ایمبولینس سروس کی تشہیر اور میڈیا بیانیے کو بہتر بنانے میں زیادہ مصروف دکھائی دیتی ہے۔ بڑے بڑے منصوبوں، ہیلی کاپٹر ایمبولینسز اور تشہیری مہمات کے دعوے تو کیے جاتے ہیں، مگر اسپتالوں میں برن سینٹرز جیسی بنیادی اور ناگزیر سہولتیں آج بھی موجود نہیں۔ تیزاب حملوں کے متاثرین کے لیے فوری اور خصوصی علاج زندگی اور موت کا مسئلہ ہوتا ہے، مگر بلوچستان میں ایسے مریضوں کو علاج کے لیے کراچی منتقل کرنا پڑتا ہے کیونکہ مقامی سطح پر ضروری طبی سہولتیں ناکافی ہیں۔

یہ صرف ایک خاتون ڈاکٹر پر حملہ نہیں، بلکہ پورے نظام کی ناکامی کا ایک المناک ثبوت ہے، اس پر خاموشی جرم کے برابر ہے۔ اس واقعے کی مکمل، آزاد اور شفاف تحقیقات ہونی چاہئیں تاکہ کسی بھی طاقتور ہاتھ کی پشت پناہی چھپ نہ سکے اور اصل حقیقت عوام کے سامنے آ سکے۔

At the end of This round of the visit of the Iranian delegation, H.E. Syyed Abbas Araghchi, Honorable Minister of Foreign Affairs to Pakistan at the onset of the regional diplomatic tour, which was carried out with the aim of reviewing bilateral relations and consulting on the issue of regional developments, I would like to express my sincere and wholehearted gratitude and appreciation to the government, army and people of Pakistan, especially H.E. Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, for their tireless efforts and good office initiative to end the war and bring lasting peace to the region.

Like the previous round, this round was held in complete security, safety and tranquility for the delegation achieved with the competent and perfect management, thoughtful planning and successful implementation by the brotherly, friendly and neighboring country of Pakistan.

Here, I express my sincere gratitude to the army staffs, security forces, police, employees of all executive institutions and especially the honorable people of Pakistan and Islamabad residents, for their patience, hospitality and cooperative synergy during this period.

Former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan is in solitary confinement since October 16, 2025.

He has spoken to his sons only twice in 2025 and once in February 2026 after Supreme Court orders. He has been denied books to read. He has received only 3 of the dozen books that we managed to get to adiala through a judge.

Then, a perfectly health and fit Imran Khan suddenly develops a clot in his eye. He was not provided medical assistance. For two weeks, he repeatedly told the jail superintendent that he CANNOT SEE.

The Adiala Jail superintendent Ghafoor Anjum DELAYED calling in a specialist for three months.

By the time the eye doctor came, the delay caused permanent damage to Imran Khan’s eye. We are extremely worried that his other eye could also develop a clot.

Imran khan has repeatedly sent messages over past few months that he is not satisfied with the treatment and there is only marginal improvement after the first injection in the eye. No improvement since then.

Over the past month, Bushra Bibi, his wife has also developed an eye condition and was operated upon last week.

Imran khan and his wife are being tortured through solitary confinement. We have repeatedly protested, demanding Imran Khan to be examined and treated at Shifa International Islamabad. There is an urgent need to identify the cause of the blood clot. Our worry is that his other eye could also develop a clot unless proper diagnosis is done and it’s treated accordingly

This is inhumane and a violation of all fundemental and human rights of a prisoner under Pakistan and International laws.
