@SaahilSuhail We used to call them as "khatoonai awal " pre August 5th. I don’t know know whether this title has changed post abrogation. 😀

Mr M. Raju must ensure that this officer's disability certificate & hearing disability are independently verified by a medical board.

Justice must not only be done but seen to be done, both procedurally and substantively. Let there be no selective hogwash !

Had you shown the courage to confront IAS officers holding files under the garb of “financial observation,” like this junior JKAS officer, we’d have stood by you as we did here. Our reservation & stipend files would’ve been cleared on time.

Had J&K been a full state, Kumar Rajiv Ranjan would have been attached to the GAD pending a formal inquiry into his conduct.

This is precisely why the fight for the restoration of full statehood is so important, and why those occupying influential positions continue to undermine it.

but also seen!

Seen by those it stands against

Now the ball is in the court of political establishment of J&K, to stand up for this lady officer, who fiercely and bravely choose to take on this uncouth and foul officer.

[Shakir Parray @shakirparray_]

Watched the video of Kumar Rajeev Ranjan misbehaving with a lady KAS officer. This is absolutely unacceptable and deserves the strongest condemnation.

There have long been concerns about IAS officers undermining their KAS counterparts within the administration. If the conduct visible in this video is representative of that institutional attitude, it raises serious questions about the culture of administrative hierarchy in J&K.

No officer, irrespective of rank, has the right to humiliate a colleague who is merely trying to explain her position.

The frustration over being divested of the Revenue Department cannot be allowed to spill over onto a woman officer performing her duties.

An administrative designation is not a licence to intimidate. The dignity of a KAS officer is no less important than that of an IAS officer.

[Muntazir Mehdi @Agasyedmuntazir]

I strongly condemn this order issued against the students of the Faculty of Forestry, SKUAST-K, who were merely raising their voices for their legitimate rights. Students deserve to be heard with dignity and addressed through dialogue, not subjected to punitive measures that disrupt their education and force them to vacate their hostels at short notice.

The right to raise genuine concerns should not be met with intimidation or collective punishment. @skuast_kashmir should reconsider this decision and engage constructively with the students, and resolve their grievances through meaningful dialogue. Students deserve justice, respect, and a fair hearing—not punishment for speaking up for their rights.

The one month deadline for the stipend hike for MBBS interns has passed, and we are yet to see any positive outcome. I hope it does not meet the same fate as the Cabinet Sub-Committee on the reservation policy.

It's been 20 days since the people of Jammu & Kashmir had their freedom & civil liberties curtailed. Leaders of the Opposition & the Press got a taste of the draconian administration & brute force unleashed on the people of J&K when we tried to visit Srinagar yesterday.

JK Bank’s CASA Slide: Is Its Low-Cost Deposit Edge Fading?

CASA has plunged from 56.8% to around 42% in four years as costly term deposits outpace low-cost funds.
What’s driving the decline, and what’s at stake?

How the SIR deletions affect the Bengal election results? Were certain categories of voters targeted and if so, what were the consequences?
Does the analysis of Bengal elections suggest any lessons for the forthcoming state elections?
