Diesel landed price (CIF) is Rs 124/L, taxes are Rs 15/L, Dist and admin cost are Rs 9.5/L, total cost is Rs 148.5/L - CPC is selling at Rs 111/L. The loss per L is Rs 37.5 - the country consumes approx 158 mn L a month, i.e. a loss per month of approx Rs 6 bn.
