Do you know why we recite ATTA'HIYYAAT, in every Salah?
Attahiyyaat is a very important 'Dua' we repeat it in our daily prayers.
When I came to know the background, it actually melted my heart. ❤
Attahiyat is actually a part of a conversation between Our Creator Allah SWT and our beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) during his journey of Al Isra Wal Miraj.
When Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) met Allah SWT, he didn't say 'Assalam aleikum'.
What is someone going to say when he meets Allah SWT?
We can't wish HIM peace because ALL sources of peace are through HIM.
So Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said:
"Attahiyyaatu Lillahi Was Salawatu Wattayyibatu"
(All compliments, all prayer and worship are for Allah)
Allah replied:
"Assalamu Alaika Ayyuhannabiyyu 'Warahmatullahi Wabarka'tuhu"
(Peace be upon you, Oh Prophet and Allah's Mercy and Blessings).
To this, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) replied:
"Assalamu Alaina Wa'ala'Ibadillahis Saa'liheen"
(Peace be on us and all good slaves of Allah)
Note*
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) included "us" in his reply...
(and on all good slaves of Allah)
And listening to this conversation between Allah and His Messenger (pbuh), the Angels said:
"Ash'had'u'un La ilahaillallahu Wa Ash'hadu Anna Muhammadun Abd'uhu Wa Rasooluh"
(I bear witness that no one is worthy of worship except Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger).
Subhan Allah!
I now know the background of this conversation its importance in our daily prayers and how the Salat was prescribed to us.
Now that you too know, what do you think you should do with it? Imagine if your friends read and know what you know just because of you !!!

What is the secret behind the popularity of this phrase and who said it?
Omar bin Al-Khattab's attention was drawn to the fact that Abu Bakr went out to the outskirts of Medina after Fajr prayer, entered a small house for hours, and then he goes to his own house.
And Omar knew everything that Abu Bakr was doing except for the secret of this house.
Days have passed and the Caliph of the Believers is still visiting this house. Omar still did not know what Abu Bakr was doing inside, so Omar decided to enter the house after Abu Bakr left. So that he can see with his eyes what is inside, and know what Abu Bakr does after the Fajr prayer.
When Omar entered this little house, he found an old woman who could not move and had no one, and she is also blind.
Ibn Al-Khattab was surprised by what he saw.
He wanted to know what is the secret of Abu Bakr's relationship with this blind old woman, so he asked her:
"What does this man do here in your house?"
(Meaning Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq)
The old woman answered:
"Wa Allahi, I do not know, my son. This man comes every morning and cleans and sweeps the house for me. Then he prepares food for me, and he leaves without talking to me."
When Abu Bakr died, Omar completed the care of the blind old woman.
She said to him: "Did your friend die?"
He said: "How did you know?"
She said: "You brought me dates, and you did not remove the seeds from them."
Omar bin Al-Khattab crouched on his knees and his eyes filled with tears and said his famous phrase:
“𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐡𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮, 𝐎 𝐀𝐛𝐮 𝐁𝐚𝐤𝐫.”
Should we cry for Abu Bakr, or cry for Omar, or cry today about the feelings and morals that have collapsed and deteriorated.

I once wrote a song called ‘Where Do The Children Play?’ meaningful to many of us perhaps, but totally meaningless to the poor children of Palestine. They are just asking for a place to sleep, some food to eat, a night without fear of being bombed or losing their limbs, a chance to kiss their mothers goodnight without the threat of being dragged off to prison without charge, before the sun rises.

"You are from Britain, would you accept to give Manchester to some other people [the Israelis]?"
Today marks the birthday of the late Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser: an anti-Zionist, anti-imperialist, pan-Arabist, and the most popular Arab president in history.
All humans are descended from Adam and Eve,” said the prophet Muhammadﷺ in his last known public speech. “There is no superiority of an Arab over a non-Arab, or of a non-Arab over an Arab, and no superiority of a white person over a black person or of a black person over a white person, except on the basis of personal piety and righteousness.”

" Your calamity is our calamity"
" We support them, and we stand by them"
Those who still support "both parties have made mistakes", are in fact supporting 75 plus years of cruel settler colonialism. This case is black and white. If you can't see it, I am afraid that your sense of moral judgement is flawed.
