@josephperson not sure they have a choice in keeping Henderson because they're thin at the position. Jammie Robinson can play corner too but don't know if you expect him to do that this season as a #2 starter.
@HeeTiggins @GamecocksToday Literally has nothing to do with who we'd pick. The whole thing is hypothetical you tool It's like saying who you'd bang, Miley or Zendaya. Except the Gamecocks have an immensely better chance at the championship than you do at those two.
@GamecocksToday Man that's a hard choice. Well seeing as the guy had 24 TDs and only 1 int his sr season, I'll go Shaw. I know Alshon is the obvious WR but we've had a few absolute legends at WR. Rice or Alshon or Sterling.
@ESPNNFL@danorlovsky7 Well they are. Sure there's some other spots they need help but if there's a good QB in place they can not only win this division but probably a deep run in the playoffs this year. You need a future QB AND a right now QB
@RRiotReport My biggest fear right now is they'll want to draft AR and sign Wentz to hold it down for a year or 2 in hopes he'll be ready by then. Wentz is not taking us to the playoffs, even in this division.
@Taihair_Brown@4MR_Monty I've enjoyed this. I agree with you. It's just that they're ready to make a push right now, not 1 or 2 years from now. Just need a good QB. Not sure who that could be but they need to be solid.
@Taihair_Brown@4MR_Monty Mahommes sat for the year. Pickett got some starts and so did Lance, but he's had injuries. But at any rate I'm not saying they should sign Carr. I'm just saying if they did and still drafted somebody too then they've got a plan and we're instantly favorites in the division.
@Taihair_Brown@4MR_Monty Well that is my point on the talent. Stroud or Young, you're starting pretty quickly. AR or Levis not so much yet the Panthers might end up with one of the 2. I expect 1st round QBs to start within a year. But these guys just don't project as ready that soon. Need a vet too.
@TylerMatzek That's moot though. Baseball is what it is. I mean, they've done things like that field of dreams game and they've shortened the strike zone to create more home runs. Just like any other sport at this point, either you like it or you don't.
@BaseballBros Lol, because you can't bat flip 10 minutes later and be like "What, that was just a normal bat toss after a hit" lol. Then everyone complains about umps. Know what, I say let that crap slide. Let players act foolish and have bench clearing brawls every night.
@SchmitLogan12 Me if the Panthers get him at 9. Seriously, I don't get his hype. I just read that for every gm that has him a top 10 pick, there's another gm that has him graded 4th round. It's ridiculous. Wouldn't be shocked if he and Levis ended up falling out of the 1st round.
@Taihair_Brown@4MR_Monty Well they aren't expected to be in position to draft Young or Stroud. Levis nor AR most likely won't be ready this year and frankly probably not next year either. You get 2 years out of a 3 year deal from a quality vet and that's fine. Depends on the deal too.
@IndySportsTalk I saw one pass in those highlights that I would call impressive. The rest were wide open go routes or the one where he DID buy time to find the wide open receiver, but that's not going to be as easy in the NFL. I hope my team doesn't take him top 10.
@Taihair_Brown@4MR_Monty Well that's the trick isn't it? Outside of Stroud or Young any other QB is looking at probably more than a year before being good enough to lead the team. So they're still going to need a ready QB to lead for at least a few years. No matter how you slice it, they'll need a vet.
