Took a ton of inspiration from Yubaba from Spirited Away! Her name also comes from 山 (Yama), the kanji for "mountain".

Here's my submission for a bug type legendary bird, alongside some initial sketches; Maritrece (using the Spanish word for butterfly; mariposa).
Maritrece migrate great distances, spreading a special pollen to help deliver spring to lands ravaged by winter storms.
