We were expecting too much for a really good bargain. The cheapest model out there just said they will increase its price. I think they already caught all the data they need it or maybe something enough to go back to a regular price. But the experience has been great🫰🏼
It’s official I’m going to CHINA 🇨🇳 on November 🥹super excited to be there if you have recommendations would’ve much appreciated. I’ll be visiting: Shanghai, Chongqing, zhanjinjie, shenzen and Hong Kong. 😍
We completed a 42-PR overhaul of AgenC Core’s reliability and performance.
The clearest speed improvement was patch processing: a 32,000-hunk patch dropped from 356 ms to 11 ms, about 32x faster.
Memory search now finds important older information instead of examining only the newest records: our fixed comparison improved from finding 0 of 3 older records to ranking all 3 first.
Recovery can replay one million stored events in 18.6 seconds, a 100,000-job tree can be cancelled in 295 ms, and a 1,024-step workflow with 63,456 dependencies can be prepared in about 10 ms.
Compaction preserved all 16 important facts in its offline comparison, versus only 3 before, while still reducing the text by roughly 74%.
We also eliminated an unsafe search case that could stall for 2.5 seconds on a hostile 30-character input and made interrupted writes, restarts, and cancellations recover safely.
Million-path fuzzy search is bounded and safe.
Agent and Editor are available with Alt+1 and Alt+2. Neovim 0.9 or newer is supported; AgenC falls back to its basic inline editor when Neovim is unavailable.
We also added first-class Ledger support, including installation of the official Ledger Wallet CLI and a proper device-authenticity screen. It improved activity reporting, terminal layouts, native runtime packaging, Windows daemon support, and installer upgrades.
We turned AgenC’s terminal interface into a combined coding-agent and editor workspace.
You can now switch between Agent and Editor tabs without leaving your conversation or opening another session. The Editor contains a persistent Neovim workspace: open buffers, undo history, registers, plugins, and unsaved changes remain available while you move between files or return to the Agent.
The Editor also works directly with AgenC:
- :AgenCAsk and :AgenCExplain answer questions about the current file or selection without changing it.
- :AgenCFix, :AgenCEdit, and :AgenCRefactor prepare proposed edits for review.
- Proposed edits appear beside Neovim and do not touch the real buffer until you accept them.
- Optional code prediction displays inline suggestions that can be accepted with Tab.
- AgenC detects unsaved buffers, changes made outside the editor, and simultaneous Agent edits before anything is overwritten.
- If Neovim crashes, private swap and undo data can be recovered, compared with the disk version, or saved to a separate copy.
