This package was dropped off at a Plymouth Depot on the 6th of August. It has not arrived!
I need absolute clarity and confirmation that this is so and what date it will arrive at it's destination. URGENT !
Why buy from a #fishmongers or #fishmarket? It will ensure that you're choosing a local, recent catch and you'll be able to ask questions about how, when and where your #seafood was caught. For more information, visit our website ➡️ https://t.co/9OMYZ6wZxQ
It's true, good estate agents will put more money in your pocket 💰 - And as unfashionable as it may be to say this, they're cheap too (relatively) 🤫 - Some of the cheapest in the world in fact - https://t.co/KGtP8EJFOG
"Following the outstanding November figures for small deposit borrowers, some drop off was to be expected in December. Even so, almost 17,000 #firsttimebuyers and other small deposit borrowers were able to get onto the #housingladder this month." https://t.co/CBzmERJ9hy
#OTD in 1954 the first television transmissions to #Plymouth were made from North Hessary Tor, 500m above the city on #Dartmoor near Princetown. The 196m mast continues to transmit today and is a useful navigation feature on the moors!

#OTD in 1963 Sir's Alan Hodgkin and Andrew Huxley won the #NobelPrize in Physiology or Medicine. For their work describing how action-potentials in neurons are initiated and propagated. The work was carried out at the @thembauk in #Plymouth using giant squid axons (water jets)
Another perfect example of why a personal, face to face approach to selling your home should be taken over online agencies.
Terrible news for all those sellers just before Christmas. 🙁 #buylocal#selllocal#independent

#OTD in 1913 Emmeline Pankhurst, the leader of the Suffragette's was arrested in Millbay docks #Plymouth while still aboard the steamship Majestic. A large crowd protested her capture, and the authorities moved her to Bull Point, from there she was taken to Exeter county gaol.
#OTD in 1755 fire destroyed the 2nd Eddystone lighthouse. As the flames reached the roof of Rudyard's lighthouse, 94 year old worker Henry Hall looked up and swallowed a blob of molten lead. 12 days later he died. A tiny memorial is outside @eatsalumi & @TheDukePlymouth#Plymouth
#OTD in 1703 the first Eddystone lighthouse, Winstanley's lighthouse was completely destroyed in a great storm, 5 years after its light had first been lit. Winstanley was on the lighthouse at the time. Sadly no trace was found of him, or of the other five men in the lighthouse.
Today saw the launch of the crowdfunder to help raise a statue to not only Plymouth's, but also the UK's first serving female MP Lady Astor.
