@myelingames @Aztecross Doing a Bungie and Vaulting your own content is kind of a weird move. More of a middle finger to the whole fan base than to the small minority making extreme noise you complain about, but I honestly can't blame you. You deserved so much better from the community.

With the announcement that Destiny 2's development is ceasing I think it's important to reiterate that the original Destiny is still very much at risk at being lost forever much like Destiny 2's base game and early expansions.

I can only hope Destiny receives an offline update of some form officially so the game can be preserved forever without dedicated fans having to reverse-engineer the servers themselves (which is still very work-in-progress IIRC).

The first Destiny is the only Destiny game that is a complete experience form start to finish with proper progression, no removed content and a coherent art direction, it needs to be preserved.
