This is SO important re tattoos. Many people put more thought into what they're grabbing from the drive-through than what they plan to permanently put on their skin. You can't take an antacid to fix work you aren't happy with and you can't sch*t out a bad tattoo, mmmkay?

If cost is a thing, do MORE research and save. There are amazing artists out there, everyone charges differently. But some pieces can’t be fixed and laser is really painful. Be sure. Know your artist. Do your research.

Different artists have different strengths. Do your research.Taking a risk on someone is fine if you aren’t giving away massive real estate on your body, but a realism sleeve done by an artist who has only previously done text work might not turn out great for you.
