The kind of rentals you see in the town I just got placed for work (despite my multiple requests to not be placed there) Both places are over budget and I’m pretty sure the one in the right is a fire hazard
Having to miss out on 5 hours of daily Giro d’italia live streaming so I can watch Themis lectures about corporations and partnerships for bar study is my 13th reason
Actually pro this because the amount of times I’ve almost been hit by a literal child riding one of these things at high speeds on the sidewalk is terrifying. Not to mention all the adults taking them on bike paths at 30mph
We understand the frustration around unsafe e-moto riding in our community, and we’re listening.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office has created a way for residents to anonymously document unsafe e-bike, electric motorcycle, or dirt bike activity.
Here’s the IMPORTANT distinction:
The issue is not traditional e-bikes. The growing concern involves high-powered electric motorcycles, often marketed online as “e-bikes,” that exceed Colorado’s legal 750-watt limit with pedals attached to make these vehicles appear bicycle-like.
Many of these vehicles can reach speeds of 30 to 65+ mph and are legally classified as motor vehicles, meaning they require registration, insurance, and a driver’s license.
Our goal is safety for riders, pedestrians, drivers, and neighborhoods across Jefferson County.

Gorsuch be like: first, I’d like to acknowledge that we’re on stolen Nacotchtank and Piscataway land. Second, the state of Oregon’s ban on throwing queer people into volcanoes is a blatant violation of the first amendment.
