There have always been long queues and the terminal after security and customs has *always* been overcrowded. Today with the extra people coming to the station it was just a pure overflow situation.I'd be seriously surprised if no one fainted or got trampled @Eurostar #garedunord

Today I show up at #garedunord the suggested 60 minutes in advance of my 09.11 train, to find the stairs and escalator closed and a crowd of at least 250 people at the bottom of the stairs. Eurostar staff start letting people up the STAIRS for the 09.11 train.
