@TheNickyHopkins We only have to pick 2 (you’re not picking Abbey Road? C’mon). I have to pick Tommy and Let It Bleed (and I can’t believe I’m not picking Blind Faith or LZ II)
@KyleBrandt@gmfb We really need to mention Jimmy Haslam whenever we talk Deshaun. We’re outraged at his (at the very, very least) rude treatment of women, but what really burns our buns is Jimmy’s offering “the worst Contract EVER”. Thanks Jimmy
@AndrewBrandt Do you know, does that include ‘they can’t send him home with pay’ because he has rights? They HAVE TO cut him if they want him out (but as you say, they can’t cut him, sooo, any options beyond bench him and hope he’s cool?
@danorlovsky7 Anyone know, they can’t just cut Watson due to cap hit. They can’t just send him home with pay because he has employment rights? And if they bench him they have to worry about his presence in the locker room?
@MarkStopa Who forgave Michael Vick for dog fighting? He didn’t testify at trial against the people running the rings. What, wrote a couple checks to the Humane Society? (And ignoring what Kobe did to that girl isn’t really the same thing as forgiveness, is it?)
@AndrewBrandt My favorite part was Haslam let them structure the contract where he barely lost any pay despite a years suspension! (And now he owns the woeful, no prospect Milwaukee Bucks. Sigh)
@MarcSessler You have to cut the owner, and that ain’t happening (and now he’s the owner of the Bucks who now may be the saddest and worst run team in the League.)
@RGIII That grass looks funny. Almost like he was playing on a surface that gives him and his specific skill set an extra advantage. (We can verify this by checking on Warner’s Rams. Did the Rams perform as if they were running on a concrete track?)
@notthefakeSVP Too bad the NCAA was prohibited from giving the “Student” Athletes a fair cut of the earnings they were bringing in. Right, the NCAA was forced to keep their old unconstitutional system?
@Realrclark25 Perhaps the NCAA should have tried to address the inequity of their system before the Courts stepped in? (Justice Thomas have been begging players for years to sue)
@ESPNBooger That’s the idea. A Conservative Court decided that big time College Sports never should have had that sort of control over unpaid workers for an organization with Monopoly power.
@CTFitzpatrick When you pay the Clown as much as this one’s getting, you’re going to put him in front of the camera as much as possible. (Just so they dont put that wildly passive aggressive ‘please dont sue us, were all clowns’ warning on the bottom of the screen when he’s on)
