Reconciling the medications: There is the hospital medication list, the doctor’s office medication list, the patient’s medication list, and what the patient is actually putting into their mouth.
@sassistheword The prep doesn’t have to taste bad. I had my first scope last year due to FHx. Dulcolax, Miralax, and clear diet. Worked perfectly. My biggest “complaint” was I was hungry.
@TraumaSoapBoxes Colposcopy. Office procedure with typically minimal to no pre-med or numbing. Patient is in a vulnerable position, worried she has cancer, and the biopsies can HURT.
