A new study finds that up to 154,037 additional "#deathsofdespair" (drugs, alcohol, and suicide) over the next decade due to the #Coronavirus pandemic. This is above the baseline deaths which were a staggering 181,686 in 2018 alone.

The death toll beyond the #Coronavirus is starting to come to light. A new study examined deaths in New York City and found 18,879 deaths due to the virus between March 11 - May 2, but also ANOTHER 5,293 "excess deaths" (deaths above a normal baseline).
