I can't stop praising these two scenes. The director, scriptwriter, actors, and music all came together so well here. No lyrics, just music playing with the emotion and damn, when the music hit that high note, I got chills. The Lament of Autumn team does not come to play.

You have YCX realizing how beautiful YPJ's smile can be, but it's not for him. The disturbance in his eyes, the way the light fades from him as darkness closes over his face, truly remarkable acting by Cheng Lei. It's the start of his inner demon awakening. In her eyes is another man, her smile is for another man, and he is not part of her light.

Then there's the bath scene, showing his realization that he wanted her with a desperation to consume all of her. It seems to frighten him a bit, and you see him trying to cool himself down, to fight the burning lust in him but the beast has already awakened. How much longer can he control this dark side?

Btw, the kissing scene was done so beautifully. He was supposed to be Lucifer who tempted Eve into eating the forbidden fruit, but here, it seems like Eve was the one who tempted Lucifer. Pingjun is the temptation that will test him, and bro failed badly.
