Attack the process, attack the witness, attack the law itself. Sow seeds of doubt and conspiracy. Never defend, always attack.
People who don’t pay attention will think no defense=nothing needing defending. GOP gathers soundbites to emotionally manipulate the under-informed.
@LUpthegrove@1Angry_lioness She’s definitely paying her fair share, part of the problem is she feels she’s contributing more. She is, financially at least, but when we got married we never cared about money. Things seem to have changed for her. I’ve lost jobs and shifted my career but always provided.
@Chad_has_a_dog Based on our conversations she hates my introverted nature and gets embarrassed when I’m quiet around her friends and family, something that has always been true about me, but I’ve been trying. She won’t give me any more chances.
@Chad_has_a_dog Thanks, I’m trying. I really feel like if we can reignite the passion it will make a difference, but she refuses my offers of massages, hugs, cuddling, any kind of intimacy. Says she needs space. It’s probably over, but I’m grasping at straws here.
@chickwerner I totally agree with you and feel my wife and I can accomplish that, but for that same reason I think it’s still possible to make our marriage work, if she’s also willing to put in effort. Since she doesn’t seem to be, it makes me want to retaliate, against my better judgment.
@Eaglewoman4 Neither one of us wants to leave the house. Every piece of advice I’ve been given advised us against that. Appreciate the input though, thank you!
@fransaundersbee Yes, she said she would but essentially only to facilitate an amicable divorce. I know we’re capable of that anyway, so there’s really no point. I feel like if we can do that, we can live together and raise the kids and at least try to rekindle passions, etc.
@666_Hellfire Everything I googled made me hopeful that a solution was possible. I enacted the suggested changes to no effect, unfortunately. Twitter has been fairly comforting so far, I don’t regret sharing this. I’m committed to saving my marriage, it’s still not over. Any specific advice?
