@TimothyDLove@formaformarum @dianamchard I'll never understand this mentality. We have to spend SO MANY of our hours working. Why wouldn't you build community at the office? Liking/not liking your coworkers/team is make or break for me.
@ohjayesimpson there's actually an answer to this, it's based on a meme. I wanna say lolcats? Idk this went viral for a good few years in an early internet era.
@0xgaut I *used to* prefer airbnbs because they were typically cleaner. Not the case anymore, turns out those cushions from Homegoods aren’t meant to stand up to the battering of hundreds of guests.
So, despite the fact that he had put a gun to his own head, John still believed himself to be a "responsible gun owner." He did not see his own behavior as a valid reason for removing his firearms.
This latest tragedy is unbelievably awful. So was the last one, so will be the next one. I no longer trust anyone who believes their own BS about "responsible gun owners" and will never ever ever live in a house with firearms again.
Very few people have the emotional awareness to see themselves in anything even CLOSE to an objective light. 18-year-olds are particularly bad at it. As long as the only rules are "Well, do YOU think you should own a gun?" Gun violence will continue to run unchecked.
