The under-appreciated aspect of the story is that the douche jabbed Walt multiple times. "Bye boss" when the first interaction was over. Then a cut of recording to the second interaction, where Carter could have kept his mouth shut but jabbed again with "Thanks for the $20" to mock him. People are reporting it like it all happened in one flow, but it wasn't like that. It was:

>then a snide jab from Carter to Walt as he tried to walk away to get the last word in
>then Walt's blow up
So everyone who has the take of "it was a prank and Walt over-reacted" are genuine retards. The issue was that it was consistent and unrepentant mockery when it was obvious that it wasn't appreciated or wanted.
That 20 year old Carter Robert Porter should have eaten teeth. But thankfully Walt UNDER-REACTED, and now he gets to probably get a cool half a million out of it.
I wish the world was as such that Carter could have gotten his orbital bone fractured and Walt ALSO get a half million, but hey, at least the mush mouthed wigger's career as an "influencer" is over.
