90% of the soldiers on the first boats to hit the beach didn't live to see the end of the day. Look at those faces. Some of them never made it to 18.
Never forget that they paid the ultimate price for our freedom. We live our lives the way we do because of them.
Funny. I thought it was morally wrong for Elon Musk, the wealthiest man alive worth more than $800 billion, to eliminate humanitarian aid that will cause 4.5 million of the poorest kids on the planet to die in the next 4 years.
Cowardly BBC remove parts of the BAFTA acceptance speech delivered by the team behind "Gaza: Doctors Under Attack", after the filmmakers publicly criticized the broadcaster for refusing to air the documentary.
A six-minute VAR delay with 25 replays to decide which of the multiple set-piece wrestling manoeuvres was clearly and obviously worthy of punishment. A fittingly decisive moment for the 2025-26 Premier League season.
Sir David Attenborough is not just a cuddly old man educating us about butterflies and bears, he warns us that you, me all of us, may not make it through the coming years if we don’t reverse the damage to the planet.
I barely recognized the journalist Ali al-Samoudi when I saw him this week. He had been imprisoned by Israel — without charge and without a trial — for a year, during which time he lost half his body weight.
He is one of 105 Palestinian journalists who have been imprisoned by Israel since October 7, 2023 — most without charge, according to @pressfreedom.
Today is #InternationalLeopardDay 🐆.
Whilst the most people celebrate this wonderful animal this POS gets his satisfaction from killing them, LOTS OF THEM! 😡
Brad 'Chucky' Severs from Illinois, US, posing with a sociopathic grin with a Leopard draped across his shoulders. This is only one of four more that he has slaughtered to satisfy his sociopathic needs!
#TrophyHunters put the CON in conservation!

Well done Greece 🇬🇷.
Greece’s highest court has issued a landmark ruling: animals must be made unconscious before they are killed.
This ends a long-standing exemption that allowed slaughter while animals were still fully aware. The court based its decision on animal welfare law and said the goal is to reduce suffering at the moment of death.
In plain terms, animals cannot be killed while they are awake and able to feel pain. Any slaughter method that skips the step of making the animal unconscious is affected. That includes some halal and kosher practices, though not all halal methods avoid stunning. Slaughter remains legal, but the animal must not be conscious when it happens.
Supporters call this a major step toward reducing cruelty and updating animal protection standards. Critics say it interferes with religious traditions and the freedom to practice them. The court chose to prioritize animal welfare, saying preventing unnecessary suffering comes first under current law.
Whether people agree or not, the message is clear: if animals are killed for food, it must be done in a way that reduces pain and fear as much as possible. Many say this change is long overdue and reflects what we now understand about animal suffering.
A few games of football is NOT worth the life of a single Dog! 😡
World Cup 2030 fury as 'millions of dogs to be shot and poisoned in massacre', according to animal activists.
Moroccan government is reportedly planning to exterminate 99% of all homeless dogs across the country ahead of the tournament.
An estimated three million stray dogs live on Morocco's streets. Animal welfare organisations have released images and testimony alleging Moroccan authorities are using harsh methods, including clamping dogs by the neck, loading them into trucks and poisoning or shooting them before disposing of their bodies in mass graves.
