Is NCERT following precisely this kind of cultural erasure?
Consider NCERT Class XII History, Part 1, Chapter 3, “Kinship, Caste and Class: Early Societies (c. 600 BCE–600 CE),” which runs from pages 53 to 81.
In this 27-page chapter, the terms “Brahmanical,” “Brahmanas” and “Brahmana” appear 44 times.
Yet the texts discussed are not described even once as “sacred” or “holy.”
The word “Hindu” appears only once, and even that occurrence is in a negative context.
This is not merely a question of terminology. Repeatedly describing Hindu sacred literature as “Brahmanical” can have a profound effect on how young students understand their own civilisational heritage.
It leads the Hindu students into believing:
1.Hindu knowledge systems and sacred texts belong primarily to Brahmins, rather than being part of the intellectual and spiritual heritage of Hindus as a whole.
2.Hindus outside the Brahmin community are alienated from their own traditions, despite the diverse social backgrounds attributed to many of the sages and teachers associated with India's intellectual traditions.
3.Once people are intellectually separated from their own knowledge traditions and scriptures, their civilisational self-confidence is weakened, leaving them more vulnerable to ideologies that portray their own heritage negatively.
4.The consequences are visible in contemporary student discourse, where slogans such as “Brahmanism” and “Brahmanvad” are increasingly used as shorthand for hostility towards Hindu traditions.
The fundamental question is simple:
If the authors and traditional followers of these scriptures did not describe their own sacred literature as “Brahmanical,”
on what basis does a modern textbook impose this nomenclature?
Why should a school textbook take the liberty of replacing a civilisation's own vocabulary with terminology that can divide that civilisation into competing social categories?
Many of the scholars associated with this intellectual tradition have gone on to teach at leading Indian universities.
What is being taught in classrooms today will shape how the next generation understands its own civilisation.
Language shapes identity. Terminology shapes memory.
And the systematic removal of a civilisation's own vocabulary can ultimately reshape how that civilisation understands itself.
NCERT appears to be deploying a powerful Marxist-missionary-style toolkit:
“𝗧𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘆 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝘆.”
One family filed 21 SC/ST Act cases and made 46 lakhs!!
14 cases were filed against a single family, forcing them to face 42 court hearings every month.
Destroyed the family financially and emotionally.
This law has turned into a lucrative business that leaves a trail of destruction behind!!!
Varun Vihar, under “Mukhyamantri Shahri Yojna,” is a residential township being built in Lucknow.
And govt is giving Reservations in even housing:
SC- 21%
ST- 2%
OBC- 27%
MP/MLAs- 5%
There is nothing left for General Category in this country at this point!
A UC family lives in utter poverty. They were booked in 14 SC/ST cases, they say, maliciously. Women say they prefer death. Men aren’t able to earn.

Pray for Captain Smit Machchhar.
He has almost 10,000 hours of flight experience.
He was stabbed by his jihadist co-pilot last night.
I hope he has a speedy recovery and I thank god for the passengers who saved the day.
Captain Smit Machchhar is a hero.
Machchhar is a Hindu from India, so the media won’t mention him because it doesn’t fit the narrative.
Wounded and covered in blood, he fought back and held the attacker long enough for passengers and off-duty crew to pin the jihadist down.
Say his name. Don’t let them hide this.
My salute to the Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar for his extraordinary bravery.
Despite being stabbed and seriously injured, he fought back, resisted, opened the cockpit door, and enabled passengers and crew to overpower the attacker — preventing a catastrophic mid-air disaster.
He saved the lives of 174 people, including Israeli citizens and other nationals.
I wish Captain Machchhar a speedy and full recovery.
He is a true hero.

Hello All,
A fake narrative has been pushed in media for decades that SC/ST students face maximum dropouts/suicides in educational institutions.
This is not the truth!
Data shows that maximum dropouts & suicides are happening in GC students.
This is the data presented by govt in parliament (2019-2023)👇
Total Dropouts: 33,979
GC: 16,777 (49.37%)
OBC: 8,602 (25.32%)
SC: 4,823 (14.19%)
ST: 3,777 (11.12%)
Total Suicides: 75
GC: 39 (52.00%)
OBC: 25 (33.33%)
SC: 10 (13.33%)
ST: 1 (1.33%)
Request everyone to spread this data, across all SM platforms, as much as possible.
And never believe any media report, politician or activists blindly.
In case you see someone making such claims, always ask for data to back their claims.
Never believe without proof.
China, Japan, South Korea etc have 0 reservation, in any field.
And they have good sports budget.
While in India SC/ST budget is 75 times sports budget 👇

Both my parents were accused under the SCST act by disgruntled coworkers. This happened in 2002 and 2003- so they faced a fact finding commission and were not harassed further. I left India.
