Be real with me, do you actually think that Laura Bailey or Troy Baker would happily put their name in the credits of a videogame that "adds to the problem" as you put it?

Imagine for a moment that you were a teenage idol who got kidnapped, and imagine the kidnapper in question is able to copy your appearance and perform in a way you don't approve of, while it's broadcasted on a channel for the main characters to witness.

Pretty horrible right?

That's why the MC and the rest of the team rescues her, and understands that this shadow that kidnapped her isn't who Rise really is.

And this is just one of the many horrible things that happen in this series. Persona 3 had a tranny hit on a group of teenagers at a beach without telling them who he really was.

Persona and by extension the Mainline SMT series is a series of nuance that involves critical thinking because it deals with serious subject matter. Which is not for everyone.
