Socialism: make everyone dependent on the government for their basic needs (UBI). Then the government can own you. Disagree with the government and they can punish you by blocking your UBI.

Want to see how well that works? Ask someone on social security. They send you a check -- they decide an amount. Then they send you a letter saying they overpaid you so your "benefit" will be reduced by x amount for x amount of months. So a basic amount, say $700, suddenly only becomes $540.

THEIR mistake, their fault but YOU'RE penalized. That is UBI! You didn't get an experimental shot-- deduction. You voted against the candidate-- deduction. You posted a meme they didn't like -- deduction (wait, that guy went to prison).
