“All is founded upon renting, or being rented, until the man himself is finally no more than an anxious form of inhuman rent.”
~ Frank Lloyd Wright, 1945 (in: Usonia - When Democracy Builds) https://t.co/1GNdexnazH
Without money we’d all be safe.
Leaders would care for those who they rule over and wouldn’t exploit them at will. Their happiness would be dependant on our happiness. Wars would be de facto an absurd idea. We wouldn’t worry about what’s in our foods. We wouldn’t be concerned about immigration. We wouldn’t have faiths competing with other faiths. We wouldn’t be destroying the world eras after eras. We wouldn’t worry about our well being.
Money and its inherent principle of accumulation, and the powers attached it would not rule everything around us.
Without money we’d simply be rich. Like life rich. And much much happier overall.
It all comes down to money.

Άλλα κόμματα, άλλοι πολιτικοί θα μιλήσουν κοροϊδευτικά για όλα αυτά. Εσύ πρέπει να σκεφτείς: Δουλεύουν για εσένα ή για άλλους;
Για να ξαναγίνει κανονική η ατίθαση ελπίδα. Ώρα να πάρουμε θέση! Εγώ παίρνω. Εσύ;

BREAKING: The United States just used Anthropic's Claude AI to bomb Iran.
The same AI tool the President banned from government use, hours earlier.
Here's what just happened and why no one is talking about the real story.
On Friday, Trump went on Truth Social and torched Anthropic.
Called them "Leftwing nut jobs" and ordered every federal agency to cut ties immediately.
The Pentagon labeled them a "supply chain risk."
A designation reserved for enemies of the state. China. Russia.
The reason? Anthropic refused to let the military use its AI for two things, mass surveillance of American citizens, and fully autonomous weapons with no human pulling the trigger.
The Pentagon said, remove the guardrails or we invoke the Defense Production Act.
Anthropic's CEO walked into the Pentagon, looked at the Secretary of Defense, and said no.
Then, less than 24 hours later, Trump launched Operation Epic Fury.
Massive airstrikes on Iran, nuclear sites and on military bases.
Iran's Supreme Leader Khamenei was killed and 200+ dead in the first wave.
And the AI powering the mission planning?
Anthropic's Claude.
The tool they just banned.
Here's the part that should terrify you.
Claude is the ONLY frontier AI model running on the Pentagon's classified networks.
There is no replacement ready.
The six month phase out window tells you everything.
So now we live in a world where theUS government publicly blacklists an AI company for refusing to build autonomous kill systems...
Then uses that same company's AI to execute one of the largest military strikes in decades.
Meanwhile, Elon Musk posted that Anthropic "hates Western Civilization."
His chatbot Grok is next in line for Pentagon classified access.
Connect the dots.
The Wall Street Journal's editorial board said it plainly: "China wins."
Because every AI company watching this now understands the message.
Play ball with the Pentagon on any terms or get crushed.
A King's College London study found that AI models like Claude are far more likely than humans to recommend nuclear strikes in war simulations.
Anthropic said the tech isn't ready for autonomous weapons.
The Pentagon said that we'll decide that.
One company drew a line and said AI shouldn't surveil Americans.
They got labeled a national security threat for it.
Then their technology was used to start a war.
🇪🇺 Europe right now;
„Here, in Europe, many people still live under the illusion that we have liberty, rationality and freedom. We don’t.“ (Y. Varoufakis)
Hello, this is Yanis Varoufakis with a piece of news that would have been hilarious if it weren’t so scary. This morning, two policemen appeared on my doorstep to serve a summons ordering me to the police headquarters to be interrogated by the Greek DEA, our drug busting police department. Not as a witness, expert or not, but as the accused. Accused of what?
Shortly after New Year’s, I appeared on a podcast organised by young people to answer their questions on everything that concerns Gen Z today: social media, the meaning of life, their job prospects, what I call technofeudalism etc. At some point, they asked me if I had ever used drugs. Determined not to do a Bill Clinton (remember the laughable “I didn’t inhale”?), I said I had. Apart from pot, I told them, I had one experience of taking ecstasy in Sydney 36 years ago. It was pleasant, I danced for 16 hours effortlessly but then, I added, it gave me a migraine for a week – and so I never used again. That was my introduction to making the point that, however pleasant drug taking may seem, there is a price to pay. And that the ultimate price is dependence, addiction – “the end of liberty”, I said emphatically.
Do you see where this is going? Yes, the Greek police have opened an investigation of me under the charge of... aiding and abetting the narco-mafia. [Do me a favour folks: Please don’t tell Trump, OK?]
Seriously now, at a time of war, genocide, stupendous exploitation and so on, my little trouble with the inane Greek police is neither here nor there. But it is important. Here, in Europe, many people still live under the illusion that we have liberty, rationality and freedom. We don’t. Dark forces are at work, pushing us into a postmodern version of the Dark Ages.
So, beware, people! They are out to take away the last remnants of autonomy and freedom we have left. Resistance is, literally, existence.
This is extraordinary and profoundly symbolic: Ai Weiwei has returned to China for the first time in 10 years and says he concluded that Beijing is "more humane" than Germany which he describes as "insecure and unfree".
He gave an interview to Germany's Berliner Zeitung after his trip (https://t.co/P0NBgnCTTH) and here is what he said:
- He described feeling that Beijing had become like "a broken jade being perfectly reassembled" and said he felt no fear returning to the country.
- He complained that daily life difficulties in Europe (where he's lived for the past 10 years) are "at least ten times" what they are in China, criticizing European bureaucracy.
- For instance he said he reactivated his dormant Chinese bank account in mere minutes (with "still had a considerable sum of money in it"). He contrasts this with his experience in Europe: "In Germany, my bank accounts were closed twice. And not just mine, but my girlfriend's as well. In Switzerland, I was refused an account at the country's largest bank, and another bank later closed my account there as well. There were other similar incidents, which I won't go into detail about here. These processes are extraordinarily complicated and often irrational."
- He says that "with regard to the political climate, daily life for ordinary people in Beijing feels more natural and humane" than in Germany which "feels cold, rational, and deeply bureaucratic. As an individual, one feels confined and precarious there."
- Stunningly he says that in Germany, over ten years, "almost no one has ever invited me to their home. Neighbors from above or below exchange at most a brief nod." He contrasts this with China where, immediately upon his return, "perfectly ordinary people from at least five different professions lined up, hoping to meet me."
- He concludes that Germany now "plays the role of an insecure and unfree country, struggling to find its position between history and future."
As a European who's lived 8 years in China, I couldn't agree more: life in China is an order of magnitude less cumbersome than in Europe and daily life feels much more humane and warm, contrary to popular belief.
But it's one thing for me to say it, and something else entirely for China's most famous dissident. The man once celebrated throughout the West as the very embodiment of opposition to his country has now concluded that it is in fact Europe that's inhumane and "unfree".
🚨BREAKING: Pope Leo XIV calls out the EU and British government:
"A new Orwellian-style language is developing which, in an attempt to be increasingly inclusive, ends up excluding those who do not conform to the ideologies that are fuelling it."
