Our conclusion? Ad revenue per user has increased more for podcasts than any other media form over the past year, up 25%! But - podcasts still monetize below any other media form, at only $0.015 per user per hour. We'd say there is still a lot more room to grow! #PM19

-It was less fully-staffed than we expected - many of the rooms didn't have anyone in them to explain the products or the brand. This is great if you want a low-pressure shopping experience and already know about the brands, but tough if you have questions or need help.

Stopped by @showfields_nyc today! 🛍️We didn't have time to do the guided experience/show (with a giant slide), but toured all 3 floors. Showfields calls itself the "department store of the future," but is laid out more like a collection of brand pop-ups.

Overall, it was fun to walk through. But other than aggregating brands in one place, it didn't feel more special than a traditional D2C pop-up - and we actually thought each brand's "identity" was somewhat lost. Would be curious to get thoughts from anyone else who has visited!

Yes, this is misleading to advertisers - but it’s also painful to see creators who are making thoughtful videos about tough topics like mental health and criminal justice have their income streams dry up, especially as many of these videos seem to get demonetized immediately.
