Preaching is not prophecy.
A faithful preacher preaches the Word of God that he and his hearers both have in their hands.
A prophet spoke the Word of God that he alone had in his mouth.
Some "preaching" today is faithful preaching.
All "prophecy" today is a lie.
I believe that the most universal gift, the most universal blessing that comes from God’s common grace to humanity is time; time to repent, time to believe, time granted by God’s patience. He is patient because He is merciful.

@BibChr Right on. I was hopeful about the Firefly reboot until they announced it was animated. Probably time to pick up hard copies of these shows before they alter them further or worse.
There is one and only one way to listen to the Holy Spirit: 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲.
Stop listening to the Bible, and you've stopped listening to the Holy Spirit.
I have a new statement out on what it means for Israel to be "God's people."
I explain how Scripture speaks of the “people of God” in both a salvific sense and a national-historical sense, and why this matters for understanding Israel’s role in God’s plan.

The Book of Enoch is blowing up on social media. It's almost as if this book was suddenly unsealed for our generation 🤔
1. The words of the blessing of Enoch, wherewith he blessed the elect ‹and› righteous, who will be living in the day of tribulation, when all the wicked ‹and godless› are to be removed. 2. And he took up his parable and said—Enoch a righteous man, whose eyes were opened by God, saw the vision of the Holy One in the heavens, {which} the angels showed me, and from them I heard everything, and from them I understood as I saw, but not for this generation, but for a remote one which is for to come.
