PIER 23 (1951) is a terrific little under-the-radar noir! Under an hour, but packed with sharp dialogue, wit, and atmosphere. Hugh Beaumont is fantastic as a hard-boiled San Francisco P.I., while Ann Savage brings her usual intensity. A compact, cool #noir gem worth discovering.

THE BIG SLEEP (1946) is pure #filmnoir perfection. Moody cinematography, razor-sharp dialogue, deliciously tangled mystery, and unforgettable chemistry between Bogart and Bacall. Stylish, sexy, witty, and endlessly entertaining. A classic that only gets better with each viewing.

Tourist Trap (1979) 🎭🩸
A cool, bizarre late-’70s #horror gem. Creepy mannequins, telekinesis, an eerie roadside museum, and Chuck Connors giving a fantastic performance as the sinister Mr. Slausen. Dated effects only add to its strange charm. And that ending? Nightmare fuel. 👏

The End of Oak Street (2026) 🦖

A throwback to the Amblin era, with echoes of E.T., Poltergeist and plenty of Jurassic Park. Far-fetched? Absolutely. Implausible? Definitely. But it’s also a wildly entertaining thrill ride with plenty of heart, suspense, creature-feature fun.
