@JohnSwinney
This is very sad and l feel sorry for Katie Long.
She took a derelict pub in Scone, your local, she poured £140,000 of her own money into it.
She built a business she meant to retire in, and hand to her son.
Your government then put the rates up from £19,900 to £52,700.
That, on top of an electricity bill that had already gone from £25,000 to £100,000, was the end of it.
She asked for help. She went to Holyrood. You would not even meet her.
England eased the rates. Northern Ireland paused them. Scotland, under the man who lives three miles away, did nothing.
She leaves in January calling herself a failure.
She is not. You taxed the poor woman's dream out of existence, then looked the other way.
You could've watched the Scotland game in your local and donated the £100000 to her. But no, you think you are so high and mighty.
Scotland Grim Reaper strikes again:-
Big Scottish news.
Scottish Labour have 11,000 members. After our surge this week, Restore Britain now has 11,117.
Restore Britain has more members than Labour in Scotland, and we're rapidly catching Reform on 12,500.
Already beating Tories and the Greens.
Historic progress.
Reform just attempted to force Holyrood to debate Scotland's drug death scandal.
The SNP and their pals opposed.
We're facing a national emergency, but they'd rather talk about Europe.
Their policies are killing working-class Scots, never let them forget it.
Mob rule, courtesy of a First Minister in flagrant breach of her Pledge of Office to ‘support the rule of law’, means the DUP needs to remove her from office by resigning from the Executive forthwith.
How can anyone with respect for the rule of law sustain in office a lawbreaker?
Sinn Fein we know have long struggled with supporting the police and the law; SDLP always talked the talk, but today they stand unitedly exposed as on the side of the lawbreakers.
As for Alliance - who love to piously lecture everyone on the primacy of the rule of law- today, they have lost their tongue, not wanting to offend their republican buddies.
We call every party out. We don’t believe any of them.
None have shown they have our interests at heart.
But what Malcolm Offord said and did today is a start, and we applaud that act.
Talk is cheap.
Remember that.
Today a parliamentarian and his party walked out of the chamber rather than sit through this nonsense.
Scotland has the highest drug death rate in Europe.
There are 19,000 households and 10,700 children in temporary accommodation.
Rape is at a 55 year high. There is a £5 billion hole in the public finances.
The SNP put last the people dying on waiting lists.
They put last families waiting for a house.
They put last the suicides.
They put last the drug deaths.
They put last women being attacked and raped.
Then they chose today to debate independence.
They are laughing at you.
The rest of Scotland should be outside Holyrood demanding these failures are fixed.
And to those who criticise day in, day out but never do anything else: talking is not enough.
Offord at least stood up and walked.
What have you done?
25 years ago today, 10 days after the 9/11 attacks 17yr old white boy Ross Parker was walking home from his part-time kitchen job at the Solstice pub with his girlfriend.
A group of 10 Pakistanis, excited by the attacks on America, surrounded them, telling Ross "he better run", they sprayed him with CS gas, struck him with a hammer, and kicked him while he was on the ground.
Ross three times through the throat and chest using a foot-long hunting knife, and died in the street.
Never forget.
RIP Ross.
Scotland is remarkable, with far more Restore Britain supporters than the media will ever let us know about...
Our Scottish membership is about to overtake both Labour and Reform - incredible progress up here.
Swinney, a sly, devious and odious bastard of a man who would sell his children to the devil if it brought him any closer to his personal goal of the breaking up the United Kingdom.
His willingness to align politically with Sinn Fein / IRA is highly offensive, provocative, deeply divisive and shows his true intentions.
Why do we have to endure this toxic politics of perpetual division by this incompetent administration - casting Scots against Scots and the rest of the UK, straining relationships built over centuries?
@theSNP remains consumed by constitutional division rather than competent governance while ignoring the democratic will of Scotland.
We said NO to independence in 2014 and since, you have done nothing to change the minds of a majority.
There nothing that says “working for all of Scotland” quite like importing even more toxic and divisive constitutional politics from across the water.
Driven by bigotry and an insular goal Swinney along with his backers would happily see Scotland burned to the ground to preside over its ashes
How typical of you, Mr John Swinney no doubt we will see the picture of you draping yourself beside Michelle O’Neill and Sinn Féin like it’s a perfectly normal day out. Grinning for the cameras. Playing statesman. Pretending there’s nothing at all wrong with standing shoulder‑to‑shoulder with a politician who has openly supported the IRA ,the same IRA responsible for murdering three Scottish soldiers. Teenagers. Young men. A Glaswegian and two young Ayrshire boys.
John McCaig, 17yrs old,
Joseph McCaig 18 yrs old
Dougald McCaughey, 23 yrs old
So when you Mr Swinney will be standing there grinning beside someone who defended the organisation responsible, That is not “statesmanship.” It’s a choice, a choice you will have made in initial discussions and a choice that you will make today.
It’s also a choice that spits in the faces of the families who still carry that grief every single day. Families who lost sons , young Scottish boys to an organisation Michelle O’Neill has openly supported.
You can’t preach love of Scotland while standing shoulder‑to‑shoulder with someone who defended the group that executed Scottish boys serving as soldiers in the British army. That contradiction is the wound. That’s the insult.
This is who you are spitting in the face of Mr Swinney..
The SNP, Plaid Cymru and Sinn Fein leaderships are gathering today to sign a deal ultimately aimed at breaking up our United Kingdom.
Restore Britain takes the opposite view.
Today I am announcing our policy of rolling back devolution.
We will restore democratic accountability and strengthen the Union.
Whilst ensuring a fair say for the Scottish, the Welsh, the Northern Irish - and yes, the English.
A full policy paper setting out how we would do this is being developed. It will be bold and radical, exactly what is required to respect and represent the different parts of our family whilst resisting efforts to disintegrate what we have built together.
The choice is clear.
Accepting the status quo, and its endorsement of ever greater fragmentation of our United Kingdom.
That is the commitment of every other major party.
Or a determined effort to bring our family back together through rolling back failed devolution.
That is what Restore Britain will deliver.
Over six Saturdays between June and July, an incredible £11,349.39 was raised for the Scottish Orange Home Fund 💸
Every penny goes to continuing the respite care for our members at various chalets across Scotland.

The threat level against the country continues to grow yet the Burnham government has told the British Army to cease major exercises with Challenger 2 tanks and Apache gunships to save money.
Our Bus-Conductor-in-Chief can find money for all sorts of gimmicks that allow him to play to the gallery. But not for essential defence spending. Unforgivable.
Wishing everyone taking part in or attending the Last Saturday parades across the country today a safe and enjoyable day. 🥁🎶
Enjoy the music, the traditions and the day with friends and family👍
Have a great Last Saturday! 🇬🇧🥁
"The SNP’s “Welcome to School Bag” was a 2026 election pledge: every Primary 1 pupil gets a free backpack stuffed with stationery, a water bottle, books and home-learning resources.
Sold as a baby-box sequel that would cut costs and give kids “the best start.”
An education expert has now joined critics demanding proof it is more than a photo-op.
The government still has not produced a proper cost or evidence that a rucksack will improve literacy, numeracy or poverty.
Civil servants privately warned a real backpack would be expensive and would often just replace bags families already buy; they floated a cheap tote instead.
Rollout has slipped to 2027, with about 47,000 bags a year are planned"
After nearly two decades in charge, the SNP’s flagship answer to falling standards, classroom chaos and a stubborn attainment gap is an uncosted goodie bag they still can’t price.
That’s not evidence of a plan. That’s evidence of a government that ran out of ideas and reached for a photo op.
