@RadioFreeTom 9/11 was terrifying as a child. I was 11. But my life nor the lives of anyone I knew were fundamentally changed by 9/11. It's not like Pearl Harbor, where millions of people were drafted, the entire economy moved to a war footing, and rationing implemented (to name a few things)
