Oh, nothing much really, only that Midnight Margo has now been released and is available on Steam!

I may be a bit biased, but I think it's well worth a try!

I'm reminded of a literary device called "Shavian reversal" where one type is when you combine elements from two classes, hoping to get the best of two worlds, but you end up with the worst of both instead. (From an anecdote about Shaw and Isadora Duncan)
Post mortem for Midnight Margo!
It's too much RPG for adventure gamers and too much adventure for RPG players, meaning it appeals to neither group. Ah well, that's the industry. I'm not bitter - on the contrary, full of inspiration for new passion projects!

Realizing that a good 95% of my followers are classic adventure players/devs who might be put off by the RPG aspect of Midnight Margo, but hopefully this review can persuade them to give it a go!

Midnight Margo is part of Steam Next Fest! Tomorrow at 9 pm CEST I will live stream while I play the game and talk about interesting stuff, etc.

It's an immense feeling of freedom, being (soon) done with a game, and starting to think about your next project. What will it be? A 3d ps2-style fantasy horror? A memento-style detective thriller with deckbuilding mechanics? A barge-building sim?
Good news, everybody! Midnight Margo now has a demo!
I recommend that you head over to the Steam page, download the demo, play it, then wishlist the full game and impatiently twiddle your thumbs until it's released!

@foolishmortalsx @AdventureGamers Also, when I revisit this ancient thread, I see that the right-most scene in his signature is my piece (I comment on it - I'm Andail):

Alas, it's not possible to enlarge the background in question, so the thumbnail is all we get...
@foolishmortalsx @AdventureGamers This was over 15 years ago, and I lost much of my own digital art when an online gallery went down long ago. I did one of those yellowish desert scenes, not sure if it's included there. I found this piece on an old drive, it was commissioned by Josh, but never used:
