42 Ahmadis have been booked — not for spreading hate, not for violence, but just for quietly praying. In Pakistan, even peace becomes a crime if it comes from the 'wrong' faith. And those staying silent now? Don’t be surprised when the same injustice comes knocking at your door.
Born in Qadian, India, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad grew up in a time of intense religious debate, witnessing Christian and Hindu missionaries actively preaching against Islam. He wrote over 80 books to counter their critiques. #PromisedMessiah
Ahmadis are Muslims and believe in the finality of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as Khatamun Nabiyeen.
We DO NOT need a certificate from anyone—neither Parliament, nor any Court, nor TLP. Allah knows what's in our hearts.
That’s it. That’s the tweet. Deal with it.
This is Faraz Tahir, 30 y/o Ahmadi Muslim who escaped religious persecution in Pakistan in search of a better life in Australia. During the recent #SydneyAttack, he lost his life while protecting women & kids from the violent knife attack.
Honor the hero. Remember his name. ✊
“Muhammadism is a cancer. Christians will not allow it to spread in America.”
Imagine a right wing church in America (let alone the @AmerMedicalAssn) post such blatant anti-Muslim hate speech outside an American hospital.
There would rightly be a national outcry & consequences for this Islamophobia. Yet, in Pakistan, such hatred is commonplace. It is accepted by society, even encouraged by most segments.
Banners were recently put up outside a major Pakistani hospital (Allied, Faisalabad) saying:
"Qadianiat (pejorative for the Ahmadiyya community) is a cancer. Muslims will not allow it to spread."
Not by the Taliban, or TLP, but by the official medical body of Pakistan, the Pakistan Medical Association (PMA).
The PMA has disgraced itself. I urge @APPNA & other Pakistani & international healthcare bodies to condemn the PMA’s engagement in dangerous hate speech and incitement to violence. As healthcare professionals, our job is to heal, not hurt. #AhmadiApartheid
For two decades, as His Holiness warned of the risks of a global war, his message was ignored and branded "pessimistic."
Today, as conflicts rage, and human suffering reaches extremes, some are still reluctant to hear the #VoicesforPeace#PeaceSymposiumUK
Our thoughts, prayers and very best wishes are with His Majesty King Charles for a complete and speedy recovery. May God grant him good health and long life. Ameen
