TSC Vs JSS INTERNS ‼️

"I would like to bring to your attention the state of CBC in JSS bro

Firstly, the President is lying that he employed 56,000 teachers.

Over 3/4 ni pure interns man.

It is true that JSS teachers signed a one year non renewable contract with TSC,which is ending on 31st Dec,2023 after which they are supposed to be confirmed to Permanent and Pensionable terms.

As we speak,there are teachers who are receiving employment letters to report on 9th January 2024 through the back door. TSC ni corrupt bana graduates wa 2023 wanapata bargains za job while 2017 graduates are rotting in JSS.

When the TSC commissioners appeared before the Educational Committee, they made it clear that they intend to hire JSS on Permanent and Pensionable terms in 2025 which is unfair and against the law. The contract is non renewable.

TSC is mistreating those and I am telling you the JSS will collapse without the support of interns. Imagine 14 learning areas under one teacher in JSS!

If curriculum implementers( teachers) are underpaid and mistreated,how will JSS succeed?

JSS interns earn a stipend of 20K monthly which is taxed to 17K imagine. They are also denied an opportunity to apply for positions in Senior Secondary

TSC is slotted KSH 20B in the supplementary budget. They only require 13B to confirm hao 21,550 interns man but hawataki. Si kuzuri juu JSS teachers nao wameamua kama mbaya mbaya"
