Before the Iran-Israel war, when crude oil was around $76 per barrel, petrol in Pakistan was approximately Rs. 250 per litre. Today, despite crude oil trading near $73 per barrel and petrol expected to remain around Rs. 292–300 per litre, the government is asking the public to celebrate a token reduction as "relief." This is the height of hypocrisy. When global oil prices rise, the burden is immediately passed on to the people; when they fall, the benefit is withheld through taxes and levies. The government is not providing relief it is merely taking slightly less from an already overburdened public

عالمی منڈی میں تیل کی قیمت 70/75 ڈالر تو ملک میں صرف 75 روپے کم کیوں کی گئی ہے۔ پٹرول قیمت وہی کی جانی چاہئیے جو ایران جنگ سے پہلے تھی 220/225 روپے۔ آج کی کمی کے بعد بھی اب بھی 300 روپے کا پٹرول ہے جو غریب اور مڈل کلاس دونوں کے بس میں نہیں۔ وزیراعظم شہباز صاحب سے عوام کے مزید احساس کی توقع ہے۔

I also visited the Dubai Police operations centre, where I was briefed on advanced smart services enhancing the travel experience. I also met with the Emirates Airline team, which today serves 123 destinations across 65 countries and continues to expand its global network, reinforcing its leadership in international aviation.
