The #West knows that a war with #Russia is just around the corner because that is what Russia intends. Former Defense Secretary #JamesMattis once said, "In my line of work, the enemy gets a vote." Well... I am here to tell you that Russia voted for this and did so a long time ago.

Russia worked for the last 30 years to reduce #America's strategic weapons (which were all pointed at Russia) while simultaneously building out their tactical nuclear weapon inventories and delivery systems, which are more useful in regional conflicts. They also worked tirelessly to undermine NATO in an attempt to either weaken it or help it break up. That move can only be seen as an intentional pivot away from the US and toward Europe. Russia knows it can't go head-to-head with the US and live through it.

Given that the West knows what's coming, my chief complaint continues to be that the West is using the #Ukrainian people as the instrument of death to Russia's soldiers. This strategy of making the Ukranian populace do the fighting when a US lead multinational coalition should be involved seems cowardly to me. It unfairly sacrifices Ukraine when we all know that the West is going to get pulled all the way in any way.

#Putin wants Ukraine because his country learned a bitter and costly lesson during WWII. That lesson can be summed as, "Don't let the fighting start on the street in front of your house because it may not be long before the battle moves up to your front door." If I am correct about Russia's logic, then there will be a major regional conflict in #Europe in the coming years. If I am correct, then #Belarus, #Ukraine, and #Maldova is where Russia intends to fight their planned conflict against #NATO.

I believe now that the best solution is to move a western-backed multinational force into Maldova and Ukraine so as to

1. capture Russian forces currently in Maldova, and
2. stabilize the current lines in Ukraine.

I believe this strategy will startle Russia into reconsidering escalation. Their forces are barely functional and wouldn't be able to pivot against such a formidable military presence. Putin would have to come to terms with the realization that the next world war will absolutely be on his border.

Putin will issue new threats and perhaps demonstrations with nuclear weapons in this scenario. The West should be undeterred by these threats, however. In evaluating any new threats Putin issues, the West must realize these items:

1. Putin, as all dictators, wants a nation to rule and a people to rule over. The war in #Chechnya, the invasion of the former Soviet Republic of #Georgia, the invasion of #Crimea and the #Donbass, are all examples of Putin's desire to control and dominate people. Putin isn't going to risk losing his span of control by nuking anyone, especially his control within Russia. He understands that such an act would lead to a devastating response by the West and that his government would soon be decapitated.
2. A nuclear attack by Russia will result in any new conflict moving into Russia's own territory. Putin's attempts at taking Ukraine and his threats about #Sweden and #Finland joining NATO are direct evidence that he needs buffer zones to prosecute his next major conflict. If he doesn't have that buffer, he will be forced to accept the new arrangements on his western border.

We can finally settle into a new peace, even if somewhat uneasy, if the West moves deliberately, succinctly, and without hesitation. With Ukraine at peace, they will be able to join NATO. Russia... Russa will just have to accept this new world order.

Marine Raider Aaron Sekulov is only 35 years old. He has served in the shadows as a critical skills operator, in places across the world, doing what less than 0.1% of the world can or will do. 

In January 2026, he was diagnosed with one of the most deadly forms of cancer - Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). AML fast-growing cancer of the blood and bone marrow in which abnormal white blood cells multiply rapidly and crowd out healthy blood-forming cells.

The treatment for AML is to literally wipe out all leukemia cells in the bone marrow through chemotherapy. Because chemotherapy does not discriminate, it will kill all "protective" cells, placing Aaron at an incredibly high risk for fungal, bacterial, and viral infections, making this phase of treatment one of the most dangerous.

While Aaron has coverage through TRICARE as he is still currently serving as a Marine Corps reservist, many things targeted towards a successful, clean, infection-free lifestyle is not. Here are some of the needs for Aaron and where exactly these funds will be used (invoices and receipts produced for reimbursement):

- $1,600 / month for apartment minutes from U of M Cancer Center for 8 months = $12,800
- $825 to clean air ducts in home to reduce mold / infection exposures (at least quarterly) = $1,650
- $2,300 for central air filter upgrade (HEPA quality) = $2,300
- $260 for upholstered furniture cleaning (at least quarterly) = $520
- $1,700 for rower/assault bike combo for home during quarantine period = $1,700
- $1,500 incline-capable treadmill for home during quarantine period = $1,500
- $10,656 for Sun Home Red light & infrared Sauna for quarantine period detox. = $10,656
- $500+/- for dietary-restricted foods (Neutropenic diet) while in treatment / quarantine (as live plants, fresh fruit, veggies carry extreme risks, Aarons diet needs to be high in protein and calories) = $3,000
- $1,000 for travel expenses / gas to-and-from treatment for Kelley and Aaron = $1,000

Totaling approximately $34,126 - all additional funds will be used for Aaron and Kelley's needs throughout his treatment and recovery.
