@BashirElRufai It may not necessarily be about power. Sometimes it is about the yearning of the people and the desire to alleviate their suffering. i believe wanting to serve and make a difference through leadership should not automatically be reduced to a mere quest for power.
@Al_Must3rph3r Being a cleric shouldnt stop anyone from participating in partisan politics. Leadership is not reserved for one profession alone. If people can leave business, law or activism for politics, why can’t a scholar or preacher serve too? Let the people judge his competence and vision
Few power brokers shouldnt decide who d public can or cannot choose from. Let people decide at d polls. If he truly has no support, Nigerians wil reject him democratically. Denying him the chance to contest nd vilifying him for seeking another platform is unfair and hypocritical
We keep complaining that corrupt and incompetent people dominate Nigerian politics, yet when someone many see as competent and principled steps forward, the attacks begin immediately.
In Nigeria, integrity and qualifications alone rarely guarantee a party ticket ~
godfatherism, sycophancy, and internal party politics often decide that. If Pantami couldn’t get a fair shot in one party and moved elsewhere to pursue his ambition, how is that different from what countless politicians have done for years?
Kwankwaso is as 'moderate' as they get but the US accuse him of severe religious freedom violence.
Dear muslims, be unapologetically muslim - there's no greater gift. You will never please islamaphobes as evidenced in Quran 02:120. May live and die as true believers.
You looted billions, your children are going from Dubai to Santorini, to London flexing 7 star hotels & cruising Lamborghinis. Meanwhile, you are diabetic with no appetite or ability to flex the money you looted, busy going from EFCC to Court to defend the looted funds and will answer to God almighty on the day of resurrection.
Nigerian politicians are merely labourers for their children’s good life, while harboring hellfire for themselves.
Isn’t that the whole essence of recruiting infuencers? To educate people more? This is even more reason to ensure there is adequate number of influencers in d north to turn d tide. Infact, more of the infuencers should actually be in d north or from the north considering this👇
"Many Nigerians desperately hope that hours spent tapping on smartphone cryptocurrency apps will eventually earn them a bit of cash". This has got people
tapping as they pray, in mosques and churches; while mourners tap at funerals... Deaperate times. https://t.co/SqNM5QHMMr
@katsinapost As much as this is a great achievement for the establishment of this College, it is also important to do it right. It shouldnt be advertising for National Diploma programes since it has not gotten approval from the relevant govt regulatory agency that regulates ND programes
