Videos of him limping and police bringing him to the POLICE STATION on shoulders went viral.

24 hrs later he is now walking on his feet.

Dhingra claims that at 20 weeks of gestation, when the cochlea of the ear is developed, the fetus can probably hear in the womb of the mother - ok, all well - but then compares it to how Abhimanyu, when still unborn, heard the conversation between his mother and father, Arjuna in the Indian Hindu religion-related classical epic Mahabharata.

Is this how medical science is taught these days?

Medical educators must first study how not to mix religion into a fact-based teaching resource.

Education in medicine is a serious matter and one that cannot be trivialised on examples of fictionalized epic stories. I hope the next editions will feature less stories and more objective facts.

झांसी में एक BA की छात्रा ने गैंगरेप से आहत होकर आत्महत्या कर ली. आरोप है छात्रा जब कंडे(उपले) लेने जा रहीं थीं तभी गांव के ही सुशील, अजय, गुल्लु, छोटू और 2 अन्य उसे पकड़कर ले गए और गैंगरेप किया. इतना ही नहीं अश्लील वीडियो भी बना ली. छात्रा जैसे ही घर पहुंची घर में रखा जहरीला पदार्थ खाकर मौत को गले लगा लिया.

इन्हीं आरोपियों ने कुछ दिन पहले छात्रा के साथ छेड़छाड़ की थी. विरोध पर जान से मारने की धमकी दी थी. पुलिस अब आरोपियों की तलाश में जुटी है.

The Jamui horror is a tight slap on each single value enshrined in the constitution.

The incident is a warning of a deeper social crisis. When young girls are publicly humiliated and assaulted, we must ask what kind of toxicity and masculinity we are normalising. Bihar needs a persistent social movement - at least continuously for a decade.

The Bhojpuri entertainment ecosystem, where figures like Nirahua, Pawan Singh, Manoj Tiwari and Ravi Kishan have had enormous influence, must introspect on the persistent sexualisation and objectification of women. Political power brings cultural responsibility too. Bihar’s daughters dont deserve moral policing and misogyny.
