The Tigers today selected the contract of OF Max Clark from Triple-A Toledo. Clark, who will wear uniform #15, joins the first major league roster of his professional career.

OF Matt Vierling has been placed on the 10-day injured list (retro to July 30) with a left adductor strain.

LHP Enmanuel DeJesus today has been recalled from Triple-A Toledo. RHP Brenan Hanifee was optioned to Triple-A yesterday.

To make room for Clark on the 40-man roster, RHP Andre Granillo has been designated for assignment.

There is no benefits to the United States military to tie our armed forces with the IDF. None. This is for one side, and one side’s benefit only, and that is Israel.

It is deeply distressing that elected members of the United States Congress will vote, overwhelmingly, for the benefit of a foreign power above that of our own country.

We have never even contemplated something like this provision for our decades-long allies, like Japan, Australia, Germany, France, or Great Britain.

But for a tiny country of 6 million that provides no benefit to our country?

Probably something close, at least on the Republican side, to a unanimous declaration of supporting the desires of that foreign power.
