@Johnmaher04@newlandfarm@Salondelagri That's interesting! I've frequently looked but couldn't find where to buy any! The breed wasn't on the BCMS list last time I checked so presume none in the UK. Don't know about Ireland
Good luck to everyone protesting today against Labour’s demented family farm tax. Farmers work all hours and all year round to feed this country. We should be doing more to champion British food and keep our farmers on the land. Instead Reeves is clobbering British agriculture with a tax that is spiteful and punitive and economically disastrous. End it now.
@mikestanford01@GrahamJohn37203@BBCr4today@VictoriaAtkins@C4Dispatches@Channel4News Why would water that cattle drink and electricity to light the barns and run the milking parlour not be tax deductible? 🤔 Investigate away and you will discover that most farmers earn a fraction of the minimum wage to provide the population with cheap food.
@HELENSTATHAM2@implausibleblog@ProagriLtd@BBCr4today No it doesn't make sense to us either but we do it anyway as it's a way of life. All the average figures on farm profits are available from the Defra Farm Business survey if you care to search for them.
At the start of this year I joined and covered the German farmers protests. I still get goosebumps thinking about it. Standing there at 4 AM in the freezing cold, watching a 10 km convoy of truckers & tractors get on the highway. British farmers, take note
The global war on farming continues.
🇬🇧 Keir Starmer’s communist regime is introducing an inheritance tax to kill off UK family farming so ultimately only centralized state controlled farms will survive.
The motive is always the same: control the food, control the people.
Robert Peston agreeing with me on B of England ripping off taxpayers by paying interest on the printed money (QE)
A mere £700 per adult per year…..or £35billion!
