I used today's market to catch up on latest AI IDE's and did a bit of "vibe coding" for like 6h straight.

It's insane how good AI coding has become.

At one point I literally went for dinner while my agent designed, implemented, debugged and ran a complex game simulation system I asked it to create to balance game variables and strategies.

Anyway, long story short, $NEURAL has a gamified agent benchmarking arena now.

Can't wait to do this again soon 😂

QF Network Development Update - February 25, 2025

SPIN Consensus Protocol Development
We continue to make progress on our SPIN consensus mechanism, which is crucial for achieving our ambitious 0.1-second block times. Today's focus included:

-Agreement on pallet-staking module usage for block producer candidates and committee accounts.
-Onboarding of Max Pestov to testnet runtime and node development tasks
-Planning for relay chain communication testing and launch phase tasks, including registering on Paseo for secure finalization
-Work on adding GRANDPA justification in proof structure
-Ongoing development of the Simple Fast-Path Protocol PoC with changes to the BABE client crate

TestNet Smart Contract Environment
Progress continues on our PolkaVM implementation, which will provide near-native execution speeds for smart contracts:
-Work on implementing host-function transfer for PolkaVM smart contracts continues (PR-25)
-Planning for new PolkaVM deployment and dApp updates
-Completion of PolkaVM v2 pallet to devnet

DevNet Infrastructure
We are making finalizations for our DevNet:

-Deployed scanner frontend
-Working on Hasura deployment for backend services
-Creating plans for TestNet setup

We have been making steady progress across these key workstreams, with 9 commits across our repositories today. We remain focused on our goal of creating a blockchain platform that can finally enable mainstream dApp adoption through breakthrough performance and usability improvements.

So essentially what happened was... all the money that was supposed to go into things like the $TAO and $MORPHO charts over the last ~1-2 years went into the hands of Hayden "max extraction" Davis types who then took the money and went and bought condos and Ferrari's in Dubai 🌴🤲

In this market you stand to make fortunes, but you also choose WHO you want to help make rich in the process by WHERE you put your money, builders or scammers?

I'm guilty too, many of us jumped onto the memecoin/shitcoin bandwagon since it's what seemingly everyone wanted, but perhaps we should stop enabling that sector of the market and get back to fundamentals; something we can all be proud of being a part of again.

We're surprised we got rugged by celebs and presidents but the precedent was set a couple of years ago. It was inevitable.

So now that we see that this is unsustainable, we need to collectively turn the page and leave the garbage behind.
