Dear Team X @X - Pakistan’s Military controlled regime, Junta, is trying to build a misleading & fallacious case against this X Account of Imran Khan, Former Prime Minister of Pakistan and today’s World’s Most Well Known “Prisoner of Conscience” - they will attempt fooling “Team X” by pretending that country has a system of laws and courts and may try to present a court order to block Imran Khan’s account.
Team X that has invented
something like “Grok” and upholds “Freedom of Expression” on the blue planet must start its research on what’s happening inside Pakistan and how this nation state of 250 million, is sinking deeper and deeper into an authoritarian abyss of hopelessness.
Media has been muzzled into silence, thousands are under arrest including writers & poets, trials of political activists are being conducted through military courts, judges are harassed through wire tapping, abduction of relatives and releasing private conversations on social media. Judges of the Supreme Court - including the next in line Chief Justice Ejaz Ul Ahsan - have been forced to resign. Journalists have been murdered and are being targeted across the world. And the regime has blocked X (Formerly Twitter) inside Pakistan since Feb 17, 2024. While people of Pakistan face shortages of energy, clean water, eat low calorie food and die young of infant & maternal mortality and rampant disease, Regime has invested billions into a plan, called, “Digital Information Infrastructure Initiative” to control Internet and Media platforms like YouTube and Twitter.
Pakistani people, media and civil society are fighting this brutal military regime to restore rule of law, human rights and democracy. Support of Team X will help people of Pakistan.
If a fake legal case is built to shut down Imran khan’s X (Twitter) Account, the first question Team X should ask is: How come Twitter is blocked in Pakistan for more than 100 days? Did the Junta, pretending as Govt, initially admitted in High Courts that it has blocked Twitter in Pakistan? Under what law Twitter was blocked on 17 Feb, 2024? A Govt that can block Twitter in whole country, in violation of country’s laws and constitution, and can give shut up call to High Courts when questioned, can it be allowed to make a legal case against Account of Imran Khan? Or for that matter any Account?
