@devcine_ Line to get into the venue was wrapped around and entire block… people would wait 1.5hr+ in line to not be let into the venue. At that point firemen and police showed up to shut it down. Inside was so hot, it could not accommodate that many human bodies.. #boilerroomhouston

@devcine_ There was no one really in charge of operations. The bouncers were managing, being security guards, door men, and announcers. No structure for letting people in. Seems like there didn’t have enough protocols in place for the # of tickets they sold even though the venue was big!

The pandemic seems to have made people more dogmatic in their beliefs. This makes good public discourse much more difficult. I hope we come back from this. I'm trying to do my small part by having long-form conversations on difficult topics with empathy & epistemic humility.
