Great thread. To which I would add that there was no Trump or Milei in office in 2022. No genocide in Gaza, or Netanyahu and Ben-Gvir loudly backing Argentina in 2022 either.

So yeah, things change. Messi remains one of the greatest to play the game but Argentina were legitimately loathed by a lot of people in this World Cup, social media algorithms aside, for reasons outlined in the thread below and by me above. As an England fan whose team were knocked out by Argentina, I obviously wanted to see Argentina lose despite my admiration for Messi as a player.

@barrborah hey @barrborah, the thing is that .mxl is kind of zip version of .xml. so the app cannot do that process right now. what you can do is that you can rename your file extension to .zip and you can extract with Winrar or similar apps so you can find your .xml file.

I’ve never liked the 65-game rule & always thought All-NBA should be positionless, but it’s wild how loud some of the media gets when it affects Jokic.

Embiid finished MVP runner-up twice & was Second Team All-NBA & no one cared. Jokic did it once & the next year All-NBA went positionless.

Now the 65-game rule is suddenly a problem because it impacts Jokic.

The bias is crazy.
