I build real world businesses.
Hyper Fresh started as a grocery store.
Movolve started as a way to help people meet in real life again.
I share what I learn building both.
I think one of the biggest opportunities in consumer tech over the next decade is:
Technology that gets you OFF technology.
friends
sports
travel
dating
communities
experiences
The screen should be the starting point, not the destination.
I went to a Timeleft dinner recently.
Only one other person showed up at my table 😂
But he had been to 17 Timeleft dinners.
So instead of having dinner with 5 strangers, I basically got a 2-hour customer research interview.
Sometimes you get lucky.
Random Sunday thought.
Movolve has pretty much taken over my brain lately lol 😄
I’m constantly thinking about what we can make better, what we’re doing wrong, and how big this can actually become.
Still so early, but honestly I haven’t been this excited about building something in a long time.
Back to work tomorrow.
We’re designing Movolve around a simple idea: Loneliness is the problem. Wellness is the environment. Connection is the outcome. Everything we build has to come back to that.
The more I work on Movolve, the more convinced I am that wellness is becoming the new nightlife.
Pilates
Yoga
Sauna & Cold plunge
Brunch
Smoothies
People still want to socialize.
They just want to feel better after doing it.
Building Movolve has completely changed how I think about loneliness.
People don’t necessarily need another app to talk to strangers.
They need a reason to actually meet them.
That’s what we’re building.
Real people. Real experiences. Real life.
Semrush charges $139.95/month.
Ahrefs charges $129/month.
A guy named Ben built the open-source alternative that you can run on your computer.
It is called OpenSEO.
Enter a competitor's website and it reveals the keywords bringing them traffic, the pages winning those searches, and the backlinks helping them rank.
And enter your own site and it tracks rankings, crawls technical problems, reads Search Console, and shows whether ChatGPT or Google AI Overviews mention your brand.
Then connect Claude or Codex.
Your agent can pull the real numbers, compare opportunities, cluster keywords, and save a strategy back into the dashboard instead of guessing from a prompt.
The hosted version starts at $10 a month. The entire codebase is MIT licensed, so you can also self-host it and pay DataForSEO directly for only the data you use.
No, it does not magically reproduce every database and advanced feature Ahrefs built over a decade.
But it breaks the most important rule of the old SEO market:
You no longer need their permission to own the tool.

Running a grocery store while building a startup is a different kind of pressure.
One side is cash flow, inventory, staff.
The other side is vision, product, and the future.
You’re living in today and 5 years ahead at the same time.
🧵 THE "GREAT RESET" OF THE MIDDLE EAST: Why the next 14 days change everything.
While the headlines are obsessed with the kinetic war, the smart money is already pricing in the "Day After."
We are witnessing the fastest military degradation of a regional power in modern history. Here is why the "Unthinkable" is about to become the "Inevitable." 👇
Building something real will humble you fast.
You start thinking:
“I just need a good idea”
Then you realize you need:
•distribution
•retention
•operations
•consistency
Ideas are easy.
Running something that actually works
every single day is the game.
Word of mouth only works
when the experience is worth talking about.
You can’t hack it.
You can’t force it.
People share things that make them feel something.
If no one is talking about your product,
it’s not a marketing problem.
It’s a product problem.
Iran: Greatest Investment Opportunity of the 2030s
Freedom isn't free. But it definitely democratizes wealth and abundance. And a free Iran is poised to become one of the world's richest countries and one of its best opportunities for investment.
My dad knew those guys. He showed me this picture years ago. We’re from Sanandaj too.
What they did to that town back then is heartbreaking. I’m glad more Iranians are finally seeing the Islamic Republic’s true colors. It’s just tragic that it took 47 years for so many to realize it.
