The Muslim captain of the Indian hockey team misses a crucial penalty against Pakistan.
He is branded a “traitor,” with suspicion tied to his Muslim identity. His house is vandalized, “Gaddar” is written on its wall. He is forced to vacate the house with his crying mother, and a background song says, “Teeja tera rang tha main to” (Addressing to the flag : I was the third color of you, i.e., green, i.e., minority), “jiya tere dhang se main to” (I lived by the rules you laid for me), “tu hi tha maula, tu hi aan” (you were my God, my pride).
Chak De was a brilliantly executed, subtle Muslim victimhood propaganda. All this when it was a made-up story. Nothing like that happened. The story had inspiration, if any, from a Hindu coach. In a country where a Muslim actually becomes a captain like Azharuddin and is loved and admired by millions who never cared about his religion, players like Zaheer, Shami, Kaif, Siraj, etc., are idolized, you made a movie showing exactly the opposite, putting the audience into guilt.
I am writing this because I saw a tweet saying there was a time before 2014 when propaganda movies were not made. Lol! Nowadays, propaganda is obvious. Films don’t hide it. They present it openly. Obvious propaganda is easy to spot and dismiss. The more effective kind is the subtle one, wrapped in good cinema, strong emotions, and moral positioning. Films like Chak De!, Rang De Basanti, PK, and My Name Is Khan fall into that category.
First spread hate against a particular religion across the country, target them and do mob lynching. Then when they react, blame the whole community.
I am not supporting any religion, but this is what is happening in the country these days.
Dear world,
I am a Hindu.
I am an Indian.
I do not stand with Israel.
India stands with Palestine.
Please ignore whatever our PM says.
Even we in India don’t take him seriously anymore.

True love isn’t a 3 AM text.
True love is your mom waking up every single day, since kindergarten till college...just to get you ready.
And still waking up now to pack your lunch for work.
No love in this world compares to hers. 🥹🫶🏻
A Waqf belongs to Allah....
In Islamic tradition, waqf, or a charitable or religious donation, is dedicated to God (Allah) for the benefit of the community, and the properties cannot be sold or used for any other purpose....
Another day of thanking God for not making me born in North India. This is just pure hate man. Sometimes the crowd is so much on Eid that I have prayed on road or public spaces for just 10 minutes!!! and never faced any challenges.
@TARUNspeakss They bring their procession when prayers are conducted at mosques, they don't allow them to pray on roads when the mosques are full which are only on certain occasions and now they have a problem with praying in one's own home Where does it end? Do they not want us to pray at all
How these guys are still in service is beyond me.
Why can't muslims offer Namaz at the roof of their own homes?
Can he dare to say that Hindus can't do Pooja in their own homes?
This is real dictatorship.
@mariakhan_11@grok They literally went from asking about praying streets to gaslighting grok into answering questions on Prophet Muhammad Pbuh. Wow. Insecurity level 📈📈📈
If you have that kind of friend, or if you are that friend to someone, don’t take it for granted. Hold onto them. Because at the end of the day, friendships come and go, and the people who once meant everything can eventually become just someone you used to know.
It’s funny how I’ve never had and probably never will have that one friend. The one you can call anytime, knowing they’ll always pick up. The one who makes time for you no matter how busy life gets. The one you can truly rely on, without hesitation or doubt.
Feeling that void, I tried to be that person for others—in school, college, and university. I was there when they needed me, helping them through their struggles. But in the end, I was just a temporary presence, a passing chapter in their lives.
