From our internal community: "Instagram damaged my business.....this has increased the value of my FASO website and connecting through email newsletters."
Remember, if it's free - you're the product.
New artist hosting his site with us just emailed me, I think he just wrote us some improved marketing copy as to why artists should move to @fasosites:
Detail of an oil painting by modern day artist @damienlechoszest (ig) painted from life. A camera cannot capture this. An AI cannot create this. This can only be made by a human hand.
Just in case any of our customers are wondering, @fasosites and @boldbrush do not have any funds with SVB nor do any of our banks or payroll company do business with SVB.
Art Coaches are always harping on "people buy stories" & telling artists they need to spend more time sharing their story.
There is a nuance to this that most people & coaches miss, here's where they go wrong & how to do it right.

This is no top of approx $300K in sales paid for with credit card. So in the past 30 days @fasosites Artists appear to have sold around $400K in art that we can track directly.
We built a new feature in Jan called "FASO Direct Pay" that let's art buyers check out in our cart & then pay the artist directly (for artists with no Stripe or Paypal set up). It appears to have generated an additional approx $95K for artists so far in it's first 3 weeks or so.
People prefer to buy directly from the artist as opposed to buying through a gallery.
You can use that to your advantage in the online Sovereign Artist Era.
