@karrisaarinen Otherwise, I kinda agree. 10x should mean people have a bunch of time to review everyone elses PRs... but it usually means people writing more PRs... which seams a bit selfish.
Oh THATS where it came from! I couldn’t find anything in XProtect logs. Rebooting fixed it - I had a similar issue with a CSV file Id downloaded. (And codex)

There’s something about the more thoughtful and considered European attitude which I get - maybe it’s my Steiner / Waldorf school background, IDK.
It’s just interesting. To me anyway.
Observation: since coming back to Twitter for the AIs (thanks @josh_robb ) and starting from zero, I’ve made a habit of following frequently, and UNfollowing just as frequently.
If someone might be interesting, follow them. If someone isn’t, remove them.
Google then dropped the Gemini SKU (so we were not paying for it), included it in Workspace, and… couldn’t / didn’t change the workspace cost as that was under 36 month contract.
Definitely a win for us.
Something I’ve not seen mentioned.
We were basically required to subscribe to Gemini to get decent workspace pricing. G+WS for less then just WS on its own.
No brainer for cost. We didn’t USE Gemini much tho.
.@GoogleAI's subscription bundle is arguably the most successful consumer subscription in history.
They bundle Gemini, NotebookLM, Nano Banana, Veo 3, and terabytes of storage—with 150M+ subscribers generating many billions in revenue.
Here's the story behind how they designed the bundle, their unconventional freemium strategy, and many lessons learned: https://t.co/spmq8mSbpk
Today is a hard day. I shared this note with the @linear team today: We’ve made the difficult decision to increase our workforce. This is not a cost-cutting exercise or a reflection of anyone’s performance. We’re simply reimagining every role for the agentic AI era. We’re hiring. We’re sorry about that.
recommended reading. strongly so.
> And these layoffs will continue till we learn to use AI. Till we learn to convert AI-tokens into outcomes and not just input.
Finally something which can make my M4Pro/48GB turn the fans on

@DanielW_Kiwi He has a history of it. All over geekzone etc too
Very often gets things fixed when CS fails (tho really that’s a shit way to do it, not scalable, but at least it’s an option)
