No puns on this one. #RPU stopped a young lad today, two months after passing his test. His father in the car telling him to ‘see what it can do’. Speeding is no joke, it is a #fatal5 offence for a reason. It can kill, especially the inexperienced. Please drive safe all.

Once stopped, found the vehicle had no tax & a crack in front windscreen obscuring view.

TOR for mobile phone use (6 points & £200).
FPN for windscreen (£50).
Reported to DVLA for no tax.

Driver smelt of Cannabis and failed a #DrugsWipe. They have a previous conviction for drug driving.

Driver arrested & a specimen will be required for analysis.

Stopped by #RPU following a spot by our 'ride-along' for the driver not wearing their seatblet, an examination of this van led to discovery of a tyre with ply exposed and it lacking an MOT. Driver issues a handful of tickets, some fines and points for his troubles. #Fatal5

The rider of this 125cc motorcycle was detected at 44mph in a 30mph in Burpham last night by #VanguardRST.

Checks found the rider had no valid CBT & the driver was found to be 2.8 times the drink drive limit!!

Driver arrested for all three offences & motorcycle seized
