As for a sequel, a sequel movie would probably work best. Introduce a new character while the circus deals with a new threat they've never faced before.

@IceTypePKMN I'd imagine that a ice/poison would be based off of Dry ice. Dry ice is the solid form of Carbon Dioxide, which is poisonous when inhaled, and burns to the touch.
